Sad place. Hits you in the face. Walk around it, not on the tracks . Show a little respect and light up the candles if they got blown out.
Simple and understated but the weight of the history is overwhelming. Incredibly eerie place - you should definitely visit if you're in Berlin.
Exactly because there is not much educational material, this seemingly banal and simple monument is very powerful: it opens room for individual reflection and thoughts on a historic tragedy.
Very impressive and a calme kinda hidden place !
Overwhelming and educational . One can feel shame only, while standing there.
