One of a few LA staple restaurants that has found a home in Newport along with Fig & Olive and Café Gratitude (if you want a measuring stick)

One of the best restaurants we ever been jn the US. We loved their brunch . Great Mexican food in a posh setting. We can't wait to be back to either LA or Newport Beach to dine there again.

Great happy hour until 7p includes a nice menu of food and drink offerings in the bar area. Also, live music and TVs to keep you thoroughly entertained!

One of my favorite restaurants in OC, all of the appetizers are a must. Loved the Main lobster tail and the braised short rib enchiladas as well

My friends and I ordered everything off of the Happy Hour menu ! We loved everything, but I absolutely loved the tamales !

Sea bass tasted like they put a whole stick of butter in it. In a good way. Also topped with this spicy flavorful crust. Just incredible.

Hilariously fancy and crazy expensive Mexican food . Went with waitress suggestion of carne asada . It was good, but not $50 good. I've had as good tasting carne asada for about a fifth of the cost here

Tuesday night and place is packed. Live music . Good service and food was excellent. Definitely coming back.

U have to order the guacamole sampler 💚 was so amazing .. And the lamp mole negra was good

The mole lamb dish was excellent add the casa de dragones tequila which went down too smoothly!

The queso fundido is good. I also had the carnitas tacos that were also very good.

The churros were delicious when dipped in the caramel or Khalua sauce.

Guacamole was awesome. Crab and shrimp enchiladas were good as well . Unless you like pricey wine I would avoid the Berringer Chard. $23- ouch

The plantains (side dish) are fantastic with the black beans that come with all the dishes.

Cochinita Pibil - delicious, tender slow-cooked pork . Also try the guacamole sampler

I found the food a little salty. I usually order my filet mignon medium well , but because the filet was too thick it was too rare for my liking. The place is classy and I'd Iove to visit again.

Great food. Lamb in mole was wonderful and so was the cucumber guacamole

If you like spice, order the Alacran Margarita , and ask for the habanero salsa with your chips

The valet staff will let you park for free if you are picking up a to go order.

Our food was only OK and I was served the short rib sopas instead of the pork belly I ordered No charge but somehow getting an ok tasting incorrect order for free is not a goal for anyone that I know.

As of September 1st , 2019 changed there brunch to a buffet and is ok but not really good quality you expect for I’m here

I believe it needs to work it kinks out first, but the food was good!

Seating on the center Bar is best place.

Get the Carne Asada NY steak .

Ambiance gets a 10. Food gets slightly above average 6.
