You could spend two hours and still only scratch the surface. Check out the excellent cult movie section. Huge vinyl areas that cross all genres with used and new records. Helpful staff too.

Great selection of new and old vinyl . Prices range depending on what you're looking for. The store also hosts in-store performances and has featured artists such as White Denim , Cut Copy and others.
The back right-hand corner of the store (when looking from the front door) has some of the most amazing pop-culture items you can find in a store. Also lots of great albums on the wall in that area.
They have a wide selection and overall good service . Their country music section is quite good but the folk section has something to be desired, though it is still good. Their jazz section is good

One of the last great record stores left. Think 'Empire Records' but 3x larger and in the heart of Hollywood. It's your best bet at tracking down those hard-to-find records. Beware going on weekends.
