This place feels like home. Very tasty (german) dishes and friendly staff . We had the delicious potatosoup and mushroom salad with bacon with crispy fresh bread on the side. Took some cheesecake home.

An awesome breakfast place: cosy, fresh simple food : cheese , jam , bread , eggs -all you need for a great morning meal. No wonder why place seems to be packed during the weekend-gotta be lucky:)

Super nice and helpful staff , the food's incredible, the portions are really big, fast wifi and a nice terrace and I have to admit that their tomato soup is even better than my mums. Sorry mum.

They serve a special fig-mustard jam with some of their cheese plates . This is delicious and goes great with wine as well . You can also purchase a jar and also enjoy this at home :)

Top place for breakfast . Freshly cut cheese and meat, excellent bread and perfect drinks. Go there, you won't regret.

Nice breakfast food , very nice atmosphere and friendly service . I found the prices to be pretty expensive , 16€ for a "real" breakfast (scrambled egg , two pieces of cake and a tea ) bit much to be frank

Simple food can be magic. It's about the quality. Engelberg is like a wise parent: they'll give you a chance to choose between gloves or mitts. And whatever you choose, it's good for you.

Wonderful spot for Sunday brunch . You order inside and food is brought to your table. Very simple fare, but fresh and tasty!

Sehr gutes Frühstück ! Wirklich sehr lecker. Nicht nur die Brezel schmeckt hier, nein auch der alte bergkäse ist nur zu empfehlen!

Bestes Birchermüesli seit langem gehabt! Und auch das Rührei ist super lecker. Ein sehr gemütliches Café , absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Klasse Käsespätzle, wunderbares Unertl Weißbier. Auch der Leberkäse ist hervorragend.

Der Stramme Max ist der strammste, den ich kenne!!!!
