Public Tours leave from the annex on Alice Street. Out of session there are lots of tours and you can see all over the building. Only one daily tour when sitting, but you can see a debate!
Don't fall down the stairs and don't tweet in the public gallery . Both result in shaming and humiliation. Check out the old senate chamber.
The cafeteria is excellent value, and Strangers Cafe has great coffee . Get the jumbo

Look for the free tour of the parliament, you will be able to learn bits of its history and even sit in the governor's seat (if the parliament is not in session, obviously). - Andrea Bertin
