Volcano Curry of Japan

Probably the best Japanese curry in SF . But beware: The Volcano spicy level of curry is HOT. Not like, white people hot (not racist) but Asian people HOT (like fresh jalapeños are for everyday snacks )

The curry is quick and delicious for a great takeout meal. What's great about Volcano Curry is that you can come here and eat anytime between lunch and dinner ! A great stop for quick Japanese curry !

Volcano is so, so delicious. I'd eat here everyday if I could. I always get the chicken katsu curry : HOT. It's comfort food . The service is great too! Tip your curry-clerk!

The menu photos show a lot of the dishes with extra toppings—be warned that these aren't automatically included (so if you want e.g. beef curry with jalepeños you still have to ask for the jalepeños ).

Mild is spicy enough for me. Very soft beef and tasty brown rice 👍👍

Not bad and not great. I wouldn't make a trip to eat here but if you're in the area give it a try. Heads up: the fish side is just a big fish stick.
