A wonderfully quiet spot in the British Museum , worth the membership alone
Good view into the hall. Simple food and drink for lunch . Convenient place for a short rest.
British museum is a great experience and for free! It is a must go attraction in London! 3 h is enough to run all rooms!
Access via West staircase, then up to Level 1. Go upstairs with your coffee . More comfortable and quieter . Free Wi Fi and shorter queues for the cafe and toilets .
Really amazing and above all FREE! Ancient Egypt and Islamic civilisation are unique.
A nice view and angle of the roof if you can get a window seat .
Joining as a friend of the museum means you don't have to queue for the exhibitions . Nice to jump to the front, honourably!
Loud as a market square on a busy day. Crowded even on weekdays. Not a good place to work or relax. Also, food is better in the cafe in the great court.
The BM contains bits - and sometimes big bits - of four of the Seven Wonders of the World
If you're just here for coffee then try taking it upstairs. Less noisy and more studious. Good for reading and surfing .
A good collection of hardback books
Amazing big and beautiful
Free wifi . Power points upstairs by some of the seats.
Free entry to exhibitions + no queues and free wifi :-)

The cafe is amazing
Café very busy around 1.00; much better at 1.30.
Peaceful retreat in a busy town
A bit underwhelming and overcrowded for me. The architecture was the most interesting part.
The food is good but expensive
