Hard to say if it was great sound engineering or just a great vocal performance , but I saw Alabama Shakes here in May 2015 and I had goosebumps from the sounds while standing in the back of the venue.

This place has cool stuff going on and I am always there for big sport events and public viewing ... ????

One of the bigger locations for alternative gigs in Berlin. Sound usually not overwhelming and they serve - you guessed it - Astra beer which I personally dislike.

The sound volume was way too high. Impossible to stand close to the stage. The pillars in the middle of the room ruin the visibility.

Relativ kleiner Saal für sehr persönliche Konzerte . Der Charme der 80er Jahre ist noch überall präsent. Das macht aber gerade den besonderen Reiz aus. Garderobe und Bar sind groß genug.

Nette Location. Tolle Atmosphäre. Lustig nur, dass man an der Gaderobe kein Getränk abstellen darf um die Jacken abzustellen.

Ich mag das Astra nicht so wirklich. Hier spielen zwar viele großartige Bands, doch der Sound ist öfter eher dürftig. Alles sieht aus wie in einem 70er-80er-Trash-Film. Nicht meins.

Kauft euch vor dem Besuch ein Bier beim Späti. Im Astra kostet es das Dreifache...

Bier an der kleinen Eckbar holen. Geht schneller.

Ein Laden, wo man die Gäste beklaut. Flaschenpfand nicht wiederbekommen, weil ich keine Marke hatte. Die mir keiner gegeben hat. Kannte dieses lächerliche System auch vorher nicht. Komme nicht wieder.
