Look for the cave entrance that was sealed in the late 50's. Close to the walking trail by the old baseball field in the rockwalls concave.
The City really went out of its way to provide something to keep kids and families in midtown and not fleeing to better school districts.
There is a hidden cave in this park that was sealed because over 50 yrs ago two little boys were lost in it. Can you find this cave ? It's no longer sealed.
A 7-year-olds dream park ; complete with zip line .
Don't forget to check out the Gil statue !
Don't climb in the bum cave ! Piss mats galore.
The cave is still sealed. :/

The best open Park in Kansas City. A beautiful rose garden, a massive pavilion, a nice pond with fountains, lots of open grassy area, tennis courts, a playground for the kids, and more. My fave! - Randy Greene
