Must ride roller coasters : Raging Bull , Batman the Ride, American Eagle, X-Flight, Goliath , and the Whizzer!

Home to the original Batman the Ride roller coaster , the first inverted coaster ever built in the world when it debuted in 1992.

If you have little ones go to guest relations at front of park to have them measured. They give your child a wrist band so ride operators know there height without getting measured for every ride.

The whizzer never gets old!! And be sure to take a classic family photo in front of the carousel and reflection pond ! You'll look back and laugh at your hair and style 20 years from now!

You shoulf wear comfortable shoes to go all the way, that's for sure. Overall, the pain is worth it. ;)

Giant Drop is a pretty basic name but I’ll take that over some long, convoluted DC comics moniker. Always scarier than coasters, these drop rides are a guaranteed thrill, even if they’re over quick.

They have integrated street performers along the walkways. It's a nice touch. If you need to let that cotton candy or funnel cake digest. They help pass the time.

Once one gets past the North Shore Security Theatre drama it’s a decent park . Do the rides in counterclockwise order for the full effect & build up to the bigger rides.

Be sure to check the Ride Access Policies posted at each ride entrance to ensure you are able to experience that particular ride! (Ride Access varies..)

The uneven weight distribution here lead to some downtime, with mechanics having to work on the ride. These fat bastards broke American Eagle!

Got the 'Platinum Flash Pass ' - expensive but so totally worth it. You pass up the lines AND you can ride each ride twice in a row - soooo cool!

DO NOT ride Viper! It feels like a car accident. The Sky coaster is a MUST✔️

Try the new Goliath coaster. One of the most insane coasters you'll ever be on!

All good except..,They should not have us pay extra for the water park ! We already pay an arm and leg to get in, then charge extra for water park area! Tisk, tisk..

I recommend checking park hours so you can plan your day accordingly. The park normally opens at 10:30am (except Fright Fest) and closing times vary.

If you make fun of people riding the Ferris Wheel make sure their ride is starting and not ending #DontBlowIt

One of the Greatest Themed Amusement Parks in the world! Has a wonderful selection rides and attractions including a free water park .

Great place to cut loose and play! Make sure to eat outside the park . Food here is grossly overpriced...:-/

Eat at Angelo's...share a plate of pasta for best value in the park .

Hurricane Harbor is an extra $8 onto your ticket now, but the price of a regular ticket can get quite cheap with good deals .

Goliath , best coaster in the park , rises over a generic looking midway.

If you've never ridden a roller coaster before, and are scared .... just do it anyway... you'll thank yourself

If you ever can join the CME and BOT night, do it. No lines , and you can do rides twice.

Go on the Goliath ! Best new coaster and totally worth the wait. Then go on raging bull and batman.

Buy the Flash Pass . You will bypass all the lines . It is amazing how quickly you get used to walking past the "common folk."

Six Flags as a business is a rip off if you're only going for one day, especially when you get rained out! Goliath was worth the wait, though.

Hop in line for a major ride a few minutes before park close. The lines are cycled through so everyone in line by park close can ride!

Take a spin on Little Dipper, Six Flags saved and restored this classic coaster from the now defunct Kiddieland and can be enjoyed by kids of all ages

You may have to wait hours per ride on a normal ticket. I would suggest going for a gold pass. You bring your wait time per ride to just 5 minutes.

Love Great America!!! Haven't been here in about 5 years and loved all the new rides!!! Definitely going back for Fright Fest!!!

Need to use a restroom when you get to the park ? Use the restrooms in Hometown Square instead of the ones near the front gate. Their tucked away and are generally less busy than the ones at the front.

Must ride all the roller coasters once and then go back and enjoy faves: the Eagle, superman , V2, raging bull , giant drop, over and over again!!!!!

Fright Fest is great for young kids during daylight (don't forget to trick or treat) and super scary for the teens and older starting at dusk.

Season pass is only about $20 more then a single day admission, $50 for a parking pass for the year instead of a $20 per day (credit goes towards the parking pass too for that initial day)

Clean and family oriented. They have improved the park for the better.

Oh man... The things and people you see at Great America. Great place to people watch !

Have children measured at Guest Relations when you arrive. They will receive a height wristband which they can show to the ride operator instead of having to be measured at each ride.

Season pass is worth it! Demon and x flight are my fave. Fright fest is bad ass

If youre coming from out of town , get a flash pass . Gold version. Its more than worth it, 15 minutes maximum for everything.

Sit in the front row on the outside of the right wing on X-Flight. Best ride experience!
