Mad City is great. It's got the funky coffee place feel with a huge menu. Their bagel sandwiches are really good as well .
What a homey spot with decent coffee & wide selection of breakfast and lunch items . Service is a little slow. Good spot to study or to meet up with friends.

Mad City does not offer brewed Chai tea ... only Chai lattes from a mix. I got a refund because they could not offer me brewed tea . A local shop that wants to compete should carry Chai tea .
Free WiFi , though limited to 2 hours when I went around 3 (maybe during peak hours). Always a fan of the lattes though can't say the same about environment.
Borderline third wave coffee shop. Most their roasts are pretty dark. They did make a decent latte though.
The breakfast sandwiches are enormous and delicious!
Just go up to the Batista and ask them to make you something good. I have never been disappointed.

I want to like this place more than I do. Assortment of great fair trade coffee , free WiFi , plenty of places to sit. It just lacks charm.
The coffee is okay but you can get the same for half the price at a Starbucks. Eggsalad tastes funny but I can put my finger on it, slightly tangy and spicy .
The toasted nut fudge coffee beans are worth the trip all by themselves

Great local coffee house EXCEPT the chairs are EXCEPTIONALLY uncomfotable. I'd pay $10 toward a new chair fund :).
