Higginson Park

Great playground (although shame the great cafe got replaced by a costa ). Lovely walk to river .

Plenty of space so not too crowded . Nice setting near the river . Ice cream vans and sometimes some other stalls to look around. Parking nearby off Pound Lane.

Nice place for a walk alongside the River Thames. look out for the large statue of Steve Redgrave.

For walking/running, get there just before sunrise. There's nothing more relaxing than a brisk walk along the River with fog cover all around you.

A must visit place on a sunny day

Love this town ! Very cute and the park is great too! There is a costa inside the park near the play area , how cool is that
