The Open Faced Sandwiches are out of this world tasty. The potatoes are DELICIOUS. And the veggies are DOUSED butter. All insanely good. The Reuben Sandwich is epic. #tricknation

The menu is so big & it's hard to choose but I stuck to the lighter side & had the Strawberry & Chicken salad . It's huge but fab!

Morts pastrami sandwich is really good. Stuffed full of a meat so 1/2 a sandwich is plenty. Liked the seasoning on the homemade chips too.

Use to like this place, but boy has it gone down hill , got served cold soup and a very dry Ruben , ordered coleslaw and never got it! I did get napkins at the end of my meal finally!

Cecil 's is 100x better in St. Paul. This place is good but way to expensive $$$$. Got the Hoarder

Half a sandwich is more than enough. Red velvet cake is awesome, hubby did not like the carrot cake .

Solid for breakfast . Big portions and absolutely no wait. Pretty basic menu but solid.

Mort's Reuben is very good, except too little Russian dressing

Love the take out . The guys in the deli rock! They remember what I order and remember my name. Make sure you tip your deli guy.

Try the "Mort's Reuben ". Best sandwich in Mpls. Half order is plenty for one person. Open face is best.

Ask the waitress for suggestions if you find the menu overwhelming. Get dessert to go!

It was ok, Cecil 's is still the best in town . Not even close.

Wasn't too impressed but I tell you what, the dessert was great and the Cream Soda is a must.

I wasn't that thrilled. I got Morts Rueben . Sure it was big and about 12 bucks, but it was dry and not very lean. The bread wasn't too hot either. Cecils , Golden's Deli and Fishman's are much better.

Mort's Cheesecake is worth every calorie.

Opens late . Forget breakfast .

Good food, but overpriced and they charge you if you want to split something. Not the best service here either.

Ordered "The Mobster." TERRIBLE value. 16 dollars for a big slab of dry, salty meat. Homemade potato chips had absolutely no flavor. Overall, a waste of time and money.
