Welk Resort San Diego

Bought-in 28 yes ago...when I was young with 2 little ones. All grown with kids of their own now-still having fun @ the Welk!

This a very nice, recently renovated timeshare resort . They still have available units for sale, so expected an offer of show tickets or a resort credit. If you want a timeshare, look on eBay.

Here for the free tour ? Refuse the first pitch. They will come down in price. Refuse again and they move location into back office ... and offer another pitch for year "trial" at $1,000. Good deal !

Mountain Villas is secluded and has its own rec center and very cool pool with slide for the kids.

The Welk Resort offers something for everyone. Quiet pools for adults, fitness center , water slides , etc. Timeshare presentation is what you would expect. The room walls are paper thin though.

The timeshare presentation is way over 2 hours. They lie to you about the time. It’s high pressure sales. They will try to close you right then and there. And the sales team is pretty aggressive.

Been owners for years! Love this place as a great getaway from LA!

Timeshare "offer" is bullshit, there is NO free vacation. They take your $40 and communicate via letters... Your requested dates are never available. Your scam tarnishes the Welk name

Skip the timeshare presentation unless you like high pressure . Plus, it's always cheaper on the secondary market .

If you are here for a few days, stock up at the Von's grocery store on el Norte, about 7 mi away

Parking is limited. Easy to walk to resort amenities

If you are here for a timeshare presentation , you will be there for more than 90 mins. So if you really aren't interested in purchasing a timeshare, let them know immediately.

If there is a concert on the lawn and it is an artist you like... absolute must..

Don't get a timeshare here. Major bait and switch. They consistently reduce the benefits of being an owner while simultaneously jacking up fees and dues. It is so bad I'm seriously considering suing.

Rooms are amazing

The pool is heated. Nice to go night swimming !

Oaks course is tiny and they are reeling the tee boxes. Only play for cheap or free.

The pool is heated more than the shower water.

Resort is average. Broken cabinets, missing kitchen utensils, you can hear everyone in the building above below and next to you. Location is excellent and its clean but upkeep is lacking.

Footloose at the Lawerence Welk theater . Fluffy show, but lots of fun.

Farmer's Market every Monday from 3pm-Sunset.
