Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Well designed for kids to explore. Lots of fun activities. The staff are wonderful. There is a cafeteria on site.
Beautiful landscape garden . Very Buggy friendly - paved paths almost all the way around the 2.5mile long historic walk
24 July: Created in the 18th Century by Charles Hamilton, this huge park is notable for its many follies, including a Gothic temple and tower, a Turkish tent, a Chinese bridge and a crystal grotto .
The Grotto is a must. Lovely walks. Do not bank on lunch at the tea room . The close the kitchen is they get busy.
Good value day out if the weather's good. Approx. £22 for a family ticket (Aug 2010). Check out the Grotto which is open Bank Holidays and Weekends. Lots of lovely spots for picnics .
Lovely place to walk.
