If you are here for a conference , try to stay at the Signature. Shorter walk and no casino or smoke to endure during your pilgrimage.
There's a shortcut walkway between Signature tower 1 and the back side of the conference center. Use it unless you want to walk a lot.
Leave your hotel room three hours before you have to get to the conference center. It's a hike .
It is quite a walk to the conference center, wear comfortable shoes .
If you're in one of the towers budget ten minutes for walking to the conference center but there's a Starbucks - coffee at conference center is weak.
There's a separate taxi drop off outside the conference center in case you're visiting from a different hotel .

Bring a blanket & sleeping bag for your trek from MGM to MGM's Conf Center. Monorail should have built a stop here!

Used a pedometer to measure distance from hotel room to conference center. It's 1/2 mile!!!! Wear comfortable shoes .
Bring comfortable shoes or roller skates for the commute from your room to the conference center.

Be prepared to walk aways to get from hotel to conference center
lobby service sucks, unhappy and unhelpfull staff , giant hotel which takes 15 minutes to walk from lobby to conference center?! I HATE IT!
Wear comfortable shoes !!!

The conference area is very far from the hotel main entrance
