Hashigo Sushi

The cut for fish was thick and sushi was relatively big. The "shari" (sushi rice ) was a bit vinegary side. Interesting fish varieties - kinda similar to "Nana San" in Newport Beach .

3.5 stars. Better than average sushi - hit & miss. Decent, yet nothing but "Shigoku oysters " blew me away. But it's fun to sit at the sushi bar thanks to the fun chefs and a better sushi in HB

Shigoku oysters : Amazing. As good as "Kumamoto" oysters . Fried squid legs : Good. Light vinegary spicy mayo was on the side. Good appetizer .

My favorite of the specialty rolls is the citrus salmon roll topped with caviar . Very light and refreshing.

The lunch special is pretty great!

Happy hour is great, but they don't have it on Saturdays. At full price, we still didn't spend much and left full.
