Loved it before the rehab, and it's even better now! Still had the old charm, and now you can enjoy craft cocktails in your movie ❤️
Cheapest seats in town . They run family movies , but not for as long as adult films so don't procrastinate! They also have a family movie festival in the summer: $1 movies on weekday mornings!
Tickets are always $6 before 6pm everyday. And since it's such a small theater, it's easy to take in a second movie .
August: Osage county was a great movie I cried thru the whole movie the acting was amazing and the story was even better but I'll tell you this much if you just lost a parent don't go its hard to see.
It doesn't have the biggest selection of movies each week, but wonderful to have a neighborhood theater without all the craziness of a multiplex .
I love the davis theater the staff are very wonderful and the sound system is incredible
Great little theatre with slightly discounted tickets. The building is old but the picture and sound is top notch.
Get your sugar fix without resorting to Skittles and Icees. It serves freshly-spun cotton candy ($3)--just like the carnival , but without the crowds, the sweat and the scam-artist games.
They have some really cool artwork here so check it out. Sometimes the floors are really sticky and the bathroom stinks so watch out for both things.
Usually, it's advantageous to seat yourself in the middle. Some of these screens are actually oriented at an angle , so you may want to opt for the side seats.
My new fav seat in BEHIND the Red Snuggle Chair on the left because it has been broken for over a year and no one can sit in front of me :-D
It's too creepy and dirty ! How come that in a nice area like this it has to be a theatre so bad?by the other hand the screen and the sound are very good and those are important things.
Assigned seating now so you can hang in the bar right up until showtime.
Sometimes you don't get the best views as the screens are on an angle but for a film you aren't certain about it will do
Cool little neighborhood theater . Great for a date.
Even more awesome after the remodel!
Limited selections, but reasonably priced and typically not crowded in one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city .
Great prices at a good second run theater.
Super cozy spot to catch a discounted new release
Newly renovated but still has the classic feel of timeless theatre.
Not bad for 5.75 b4 6:pm plus good walking score if your early for the show or after you can walk around. Nice area.
No hassle movie theater in the city w/Great prices. Always has 4 recent movies . Kind of old school but that gives it it's charm.
The Davis is a Paragon of the Matinee. 2 tickets: $11. Great a/c and lots of nice people. Worth bringing the whole family.
Saw Star Wars here. Theater is small but mighty.
Davis doesn't care about movie ratings; there are three kids under 5 in the 9:45pm Thursday showing of Cabin in the Woods
Reasonable ticket prices. Comfy
Wow what a cool place too see a movie nice and quant
Pay close attention to the slight angle in the movie screens, and then be sure to sit on the side of the theater where those screens point.
Great prices. Small, but cozy and reminds me of going to the movies as a kid.
This is an ok place for a cheaper movie alternative...but definitely shows its age
Kids summer movies Tuesdays and Wednesdays for $1
Absolutely the cheapest place left to catch movies that have just been released
What was once a dumpy old theater without charm has become a jewel of the neighborhood . Beautiful Art Deco design and a great snack stand add to the overall effect.
Reasonably priced tickets for a cozy and unpretentious place to watch a film .
Great prices and excellent popcorn !
Reggie tries to catch a show when he has some extra cash. Help him out!
Sit close - the screens are small!
Try the popcorn with caramel powder, its the best!
Cheap tickets, but you get what you pay for.
Good price, IF u like to stare sideways to watch a movie ...
Cheap and old but good for movies
Cheap movies and old school...I love this place!
Be early or face viewing the movie at a wacky angle . And buy some popcorn !
New renovation is really cool and the lounge area is really inviting. Same layout and style though. Good ole Davis.
Bring lots of quarters for the nut and candy machines!!
Now with digital projection! W00t!
Cool and old school but with weird angled screens.
It was. Good see it I just did

The GF and I like to sit in the Lover's Chairs so we can snuggle. Eeeew.
This is my go to theater in the city. The seats are amazing, loved the assigned seating. There's a little bar to get drinks. Easy to find parking that's free and it's just an easy place to get to. - Vally
A Movie Viewers Dream Come True! Staff treated me like royalty! I will definitely return and I recommend you go! The customer service is PRICELESS! - candi hun
Definitely a small theater. Nothing fancy. Building is old. But a cute theater to grab a movie. Great location :) - Sara
My wife loves the Tomato Blue Cheese Salad (been eating it for 10 years) and I'm a fan of The Honeymooner. - khambone
John behind the bar recommended the mushroom grits and now I am recommending the grits! #amazing - Zach Schneider
