Ah Liang Ipoh Hor Fun

The ipoh hor fun sauce is really potent with its herbal flavour and goes so well with its ingredients. Fried fish dumplings were also very shiok .

Caution: they have two versions: just plain mushroom horfun and shredded chicken-mushroom horfun. Cooks say many ordered wrongly

That magic touch in the gravy is from the wolfberries. The taste is subtle but it makes all the difference.

I had the shredded chicken hor fun , and man, that sauce is something to be reckoned with. Tasting rather herbal, remarkably like dang gui (Chinese angelica).
