Head towards the visitor pass machines and dial the Starbucks on the 35th floor. You'll be issued a visitor pass which will take you through the turnstiles to the elevators . Enjoy the free view !

Taipei's coolest landmark ! If you want to save the entrance fee, visit Starbucks on the 33rd floor. However, you have to reserve at least a day in advance by phone call.

Typical shopping mall with branded shops everywhere. It's expensive to go up to the observatory tower. You can take a hike up the elephant trail and get an equally good view of the city .

Go up to the observatory to have a great view of Taipei. Outdoor observatory at 91th floor. Also a mall , find restaurants , jewelry and souvenirs stored around.

Spend time waiting for your queue number at Din Tai Fung or queuing for 101 tourist lift at the basement food retail area. Sugar & Spice nougats are highly recommended. Best!

You can't visit Taipei without stopping here! Just tell the taxi "ee-ling-ee" in a high tone of voice and voila! Tons of good restaurants and a view to die for.

One of the fastest lift in the world, but do ensure weather is good when you go as there is nothing much to do except to see the view . Waiting time is long to up the tower

Priority pass, depends on the day, if there are tons of people, totally worth it, helps to cut thru the queues going up and coming back down.

It's Taipei's main tourist attraction that warrants a visit. Beware of long lines unless you buy a Fast Pass that will get you to the 89th floor . Elevator will get you there in seconds.

Amazing view from the top. The mall is full of eye wateringly expensive high end shops. Food court has really good concessions and the free wifi is super fast.

Go up and eat/drink at a high floor with a view . Try DTF's different types of XLB. Go to the Body Shop there and get their HEMP range of products!

A majestic sight and was 1 of the tallest building. A must to visit it you are in Taipei, Taiwan.

Marvelous architecture ! Though the subway drops you at level 1, you can buy tickets for the observatory at the fifth floor. Tickets are very reasonably priced and don't expect huge crowds.

You get an audio guide in many languages when visiting the observation deck . To get down you have to go through an expensive jewelry shop. Always afraid to break something worth millions of dollar.

To enjoy the best view of Taipei101 building, head over to Eslit bookstore and have a coffee/tea at Anges b cafe . Just 500m away from Taipei 101 mall .

At least get a visitor's card from the kiosks and go up to Starbucks on the 35th floor to get a decent view if you don't want to go all the way to the top

Being one of the tallest skyscraper , impressive architecture design, one of the world's fastest elevator , shopping mall , food court , bookstore and even night club are available here.

Ntg great go shout about. It has practically ntg much to do and see at this place. View isnt that fantastic. Just an experience going up to 91st floor

It's the landmark you have to see when you visit Taiwan :-) Great fireworks too if you are lucky enough!

It's a tourist 'y kinda thing but it's pretty nice to the city this way. Super fast elevator . Even have some 4D VR stuff at the top...Kinda funny

For 500 Taiwan Dollar you get a great view over Taipei but don't forget to visit the outdoor platform upstairs. A lot of merchandising inside you have to pass when you walk back to the elevators .

A huge luxury mall with lots of shopping options. Most are international brands, though, so not super local.

Page one is an awesome book store and the view along with the listening tour thing is awesome.... Cost about 13 bucks and the audio tour is free. The coral museum is also pretty awesome. A must visit!

The food at the food courts are amazingly good and are at reasonable prices! Come here to see or explore the beauty of this city !

Being the 2nd tallest skyscraper in the world, this is a must-see for all visitors. Aside from seeing the impressive architecture , you can also ride the world's fastest elevators . Open 10am to 10pm.

It was my very first time to see a building that tall. It looks great, both during the day and the night. Great stores inside. Apple store in there.

Don’t be intimidated by the long line - it moves pretty quickly. Look forward to the many food options in the mall afterwards.

A trip to Taiwan would not be complete w/o visiting this modern icon. Go here early since lots of people check the observatory .

I didn't go up. I hiked up elephant mountain (Xiang Shan)and got a good look up on the city . Tripe 101 and the top of the hill are about the same hight.

The building is meant to resemble a stalk of bamboo and all its features were chosen with feng shui in mind. The external observation deck is terrifying for some. – Green Guide Editor

Try to get up to the observatory early as the queue can be quite long. You can get a postcard & a stamp from the gift shop from 89th floor

Clean bathrooms and free wifi and fancy stores. Go to the food court area and get free samples of pineapple cakes and jerkys ;)

MUST VISIT: The view from the Outdoor Observatory in the 91st floor is amazing. But, make sure you have all the patience to queue for at least 30 minutes to go in and out of the elevator area.

Splendid views of the city . It's a pity they cheapened the experience by forcing visitors to walk through a totally unrelated gemstone store before we could take the elevator down.

Love the ride up, the view , the ride down however took longer than expected.
