Vinny is super friendly , been in the business 40 years! Food is great. No hipsters here, old school and neighborhoody.

Old school classic Brooklyn Italian food ! The best of a dying breed. Total comfort food . Delicious dishes slathered in cheese and red sauce . Great service! Always packed!

You can't go wrong with any dish here! A local guy told me I have to try the shrimp oreganata so if I can bare to pass up the red sauce next time maybe I will :)

For just a couple of bucks more they'll add excellent meatballs to any pasta dish. I've been getting food here for over 15 years.

Meat lasagna the size of your head. Absolutely delicious, too.

So disappointed. Lasagna tasted like canned ravioli . Carbonara not good. Green beans were from a can. Won't be coming back, much better Italian in the area.

like a cafeteria , most main dishes are not made to order but instead prepared earlier in the day, then re-heated for serving. as such, go with oven-baked items such as the tasty eggplant parmigiana .

Food is entirely mediocre if you're Italian.
