Chicken fajitas were amazing. I ate during dinner rush and service was just fine. Their chips and salsa were also better than most Mexican restaurants . Would definitely return here!
Henry from El Salvador is an excellent waiter , ask for him. Margaritas are bad ass, fajitas were killer, and the guac was pretty damn good. Not kid friendly , thank god. 10/10, no complaints.
So disappointed that I called ahead about making a reservation . We get there and they were closing at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was so upset as there were 10 of us for my boyfriends birthday. So upset!
Beautiful spot for a drink and especially festive at night
Fun place to hang out and have a drink if you're staying at the Gaylord Texan. Good queso and tacos !
Subpar food and drinks as is typical in most "trendy " hotels . If you want good tex mex ... Go anywhere else! You're in the Tex Mex capital of the world ;)
Excellent service and food is delicious. Perfect for a quick bite or to enjoy some margaritas !
Sunday brunch is awesome …. Spendy but tasty ????
They have changed their menu and only have about a dozen choices. Said it was for the holidays, but we didn't stay to eat! There are too many places to eat around that area to settle!
Great brunch ! You can have all the food and all the drinks for $22
Easter brunch was great. Some adult drinks included.
Tasty brisket tacos . Try the Mexican Mule, yum.
The Sunday burch is incredible: breakfast and lunch items AND the chocolate fountain !
The Queso was really enjoyable - not often I say that about a white Queso ;)
The puff tacos are yummy! Choose from any combo of beef , chicken , or fish .
Awesome breakfast buffet and love there salsa
Don't try to get breakfast here during a convention . Lots of tables open but not enough staff . Very annoying when to have meetings to attend
Brisket Tacos w/ Purple Cabbage Slaw
Nachos are bomb!!!
Place is mediocre, atmosphere is dead, drinks are not cheap but reasonable for being in the Texan...been here twice, both times service was bad, only got one refill for the 2 hours we were there
Try the Kitchen Sink, Sweet Potato Fries , Beans - #yum
Great breakfast buffet . They have made to order omelets , cereals, fresh pastries , fruit , and more.
There really is no excuse to not make your own tortillas at a Mexican restaurant in Texas. Inexcusable.
Try the St. Louis Style Spare Ribs - #yum
The Sopapillas are yumm-my & way fun!
Jalapeno Margarita . Little sweet, perfect kick.
Beef fajitas are delish
19 dollars for the worst breakfast buffet I've EVER seen. Trust me when I say this but save yourself and leave the Gaylord for your meals. Plenty of better and cheaper places close by.
Chicken tortilla soup has a little kick to it... yum!
Have to try the breakfast burritos . It is great!
I think they put bloody Mary mix in my michelada . It's not the same, people.
The buffet
If you are trying to enjoy the great views and ambiance don't come here. Never been so rushed by a waiter in my life! Food is average.
Fish tacos are really good.
Sign says they close at midnight, but it lies. Bartender didn't seem to care at all that the sign said something different.
Breakfast included in our "package". Didn't tell us you have to make reservations the day before. Plenty of empty tables. Obviously understaffed. Minimum 30 minute wait.
The guacamole is awesome!
Had this green salsa at breakfast that I would marry if I could.
Overall, the food is greatly overpriced for the quality. It tasted good, but I expected more. Service wasn't amazing, but not bad.
host staff has no clue... took 25 mins of waiting in line to get a table though hostess claimed there was no wait... huh???
Food is not special. Pretty eh in general.
Skip this place & try a different restaurant .
salsa is not really all that special.
Not a good place for kids... Menu is limited and not kid friendly . Chille Relleno was cold in center... We had bad experience
Food is mediocre - from hot boxes; not fresh. Service is horrid and management comes off as inept.
Brunch was awful and overpriced. Denny's has better quality food!
We had an amazing time at this place. Servers were very nice and we actually got a seat which is really surprising for a Saturday night - ChantalixiousZz LaDiva
Holy wall of TVs!!! Great place to catch a game if you're in the area! - Jackie Easthom
Enjoy the break fast at the convention center... - Rapha Militino
Best TexMex I have ever had! Enchilada's are excellent. - T Price
Excellent table side guacamole! Loved the addition of sundried tomatoes. Get it without bacon, for sure. - Angela Barnes
Cute coffee shop in a lovely location. Open 24 hours. Indoor-outdoor seating. Peaceful atmosphere. - Aida B. @AidaofNubia
