Tri-tip sandwiches are always a winner with lots of beef . Sauce is so good you'll want to get extra. Ask for lightly seasoned fries ... They come heavily seasoned. But they r good too!
Tri-tip sandwich was amazing. And their fries were just perfect. Here's a pro tip. Skip the line and grab a seat at the bar behind the cashier .
Tri tip sandwich had such a great flavor, bread isn't to heavy, nice crispy & toasted just right, get extra sauce. Steak Cobb salad w bleu cheese , tomato , red peppers . A small can feed 3 ppl as a side
I had the Tri-Tip Sammich and man that thing was piled up high with a big ol' stack of several slices of thick, tender, juicy Tri-Tip. It just about melted in my mouth. Had a side of chili beans. A+++
Tri-tip sandwich is excellent, with generous portions of tri-tip, crusty bread , nicely toasted. The outdoor patio has lots of seating, and the lines move surprisingly quickly.
Obviously, the trip tip is a must. Get it in a sandwich or in the Cobb salad , delicious. Side of fries is plenty for up to 3 people. Favorite BBQ spot ever.
Get the tri tap steak sandwich , no other sandwich compares imo! ????????????
The food is incredible and huge! Both the pig sandwich and the tri-tip steak sandwich are delicious. Make sure you listen out for your order number.
The Tri-Tip Sandwich is really good but the best and my personal favorite since I was a little kid is "The Pig ". Best pulled pork sandwich of all time.
San Luis Obispo's best burgers and barbecue joint in the downtown area! The smell alone is intoxicating! Order anything off their menu and you won't leave disappointed.
The best tri tip sandwich in SLO. Absolutely to die for. And their French fries are very good too. Nice and thin and with seasoning reminiscent of Red Robin.
The tri-tip sandwich is incredible. Always tender, great BBQ sauce as well .
Try their tri-tip sandwich which comes served on some amazing garlic bread . Get a side of BBQ sauce and you can just thank me later
One of the best burgers I've eaten in my life! A typical sports bar that closes the doors later than the others. Totally recommended!
You can skip the long line if you sit at the bar ! We loved the tri-tip sandwiches ... and ordered extra sauce (best part) for our sandwiches !
Don't be scared away by the line . It moves quickly, but where to sit? Outside if it's a nice day/evening! Pulled pork & tri-tip are my go-to faves.
A large bowl if their Tri Tip Cobb Salad can feed 2. The BBQ sauce gives it a perfect finish. Their sandwich is one the best I've had. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Get the tri-tip sandwich and fries . You won't regret it! Bonus points for fast service !
Love this place. The tri tip sandwich is the best. Don't let the long line scare you away. It moves fast
Great BBQ at a reasonable price. Outdoor seating or indoor watching sports on the big screen TVS , you can't go wrong.
Good stuff!! Everything we had was great, from the ribs to the chicken to the french fries . Can't go wrong here.
Do it WELL DONE! His master said ‘WELL DONE, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much
Don't forget to ask for some extra BBQ sauce on the side, or you will be devastated!
Always in high demand! We love the pulled pork and their seasoned fries are the best! Better to come hungry because they have generous portions :)
Always get the tri tip sandwich and basket of fried. The jalapeño burger is also delicious.
Definite stop in SLO. Ask for extra BBQ sauce with your tri-tip and fries to dip !
Everything is mouth watering. Personal favorite is the pulled pork and chicken Caesar salad !

worth the wait! You can do a basket of half fries and half rings too.
Can't go wrong with this place... Delicious, affordable and filling. The steak Cobb salad is great.
Their food was outstanding. Service fantastic. Pricing appropriate.
Tritip is awesome! I recommend it for people who love Barbecue ribs .
What else can I say, but anything beef or chicken , salads . Tri-tip is the best!
Tri tip sandwich is worth the drive…
The best pig sandwich I have ever had... It is really good !
Open late , Fireside is the place to finish off any day in SLO. The Tri-Tip is a specialty, but I opted for a Pig Sandwich . Shredded pork on the same French roll , topped with BBQ sauce and coleslaw . A+
Do yourself a favor and eat the Tri-tip sandwich with ranch and thank me later.
D, the manager, is the best person at Firestone!! He can remember an order for a party of 10 without taking a single note!!
Tri Tip sandwich is great and their french fries are perfect
Tri tip sandwiches and baskets of fries are our go to!
Better bring something to entertain yourself while in line , cuz plenty of people waiting for plenty of yums!
Delicious tri-tip. You have to ask for extra sauce, otherwise it's very light serving of sauce.
The Tri-Tip Sandwich and a Firestone Walker DBA and you'll be in good hands.
