Oldest pub in Kingston . Food is available all day until 10pm. An inscription by author Jerome K Jerome can be found on an upstairs window. Great real ales .

Always a good range of beers (I like em ales ). Their burger is really good, juicy and slapped together with bacon for that extra flavor. Chips or fries are good hearty ones. Recommended.

Great atmosphere, big building with lots of character and nice heated garden but flat lager , shitty beers , moronic customers and lifeless bar staff . The food we've had has been crap too. See below

Decent pub , quite a nice atmosphere when not too busy. Pity the loos were flooded when I came here last!

Waited ages for a burger (30 minutes more than the Sunday Roast ). No mustard , not enough cutlery and napkins for our entire table of four, got ignored by staff .

mmm like the pub but there's one bar person (blonde woman) that my husband and I both found to be reeeaaaally rude and abrupt. unfortunately may put us off going back.

Broken taps and no soap or paper in either toilet .

Food is good here. Try a main for £5.

The surroundings may have improved post refurb but shame about the staff . Really rude.
