I've learned so much by shopping at REI , from both the employees and customers. Everyone is so friendly there! Plus, the rock climbing gym is great.
LOVE this store! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable . The selection is awesome and offers something for everyone. As an avid adventure traveler and urban explorer this is my first stop!

Find the second floor and browse the returned items to find some great deals on lightly used gear.
The staff in the designated sections can range from extremely educated and helpful to elitist. It can be very easy to find yourself swayed to items way over your head in price or skill level.
Stocks only functional, stylish & affordable snowboard bags for women. Men pay twice the price for something just as nice. Women's bag for sure, then.
Dan L in snowboards is super knowledgeable ! He fit my family of 6 into snowboard and nordic packages and we are super happy.

Great place for gear if you're the "outdoorsy" type. More expensive than the average sporting goods store, but you get what you pay for.
