Bring your sunbrella because it is hot in the summer. But you are in luck. The chicken tenders and chili cheese fries are classics at the grill and they have local IPA’s on tap too. Ace.
The beach is amazing and the water is crystal clear. There's lots to do is you don't want to swim in the freezing water. Very family friendly . My advice: take the shuttle from Incline Village.
If the parking is full, take the shuttle from Raleys shopping center in Incline. $3/adult, $1.50/kids. Runs every 20 minutes. Super easy.
One of the nicest beaches on Lake Tahoe . It's so popular that you'll have to arrive before 10am most days to be allowed entrance. Great for swimming , paddleboarding , boating.
A great all-around summer beach . Launch your kayak or paddle board from the boat ramp & make a half-day trip out of a paddle over to Thunderbird Lodge with lunch on one of the beaches along the way.
If you come here late, you won't get parking . Drive a bit further and park on the side then hike down to the bottom. It's worth it!
$10 to park , life guards are diligent, beaches are always clean . Remember to keep Tahoe that way each time & respect our lake . Love beautiful sand harbor .
The view of the castle was amazing. The wind makes waves of both color and patterns were breathtaking. The side view of golden trees down the side of the mountain awed me
At Sand Harbor State Park is a large outdoor amphitheater , home to Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival . Enjoy nightly performances during the summer.
One of the best beaches I've ever been to. Boulders are amazing.
Well , it is crowded . But it is probably one of most beautiful spots of Tahoe . Paddleboarding here is amazing, but be prepared for waves.
There's a fee to enter and park , but it's worth it. Long sandy beach with great rock formations to play on. There are public restrooms and a concession stand as well .
A entrance fee of $12 looks too big comparing to free beaches on californian shore, especially when you don't have plans to spend the whole day here
Beautiful spot. It's like your in Hawaii. Come early because it fills up and they close entrance.
Best beach in Tahoe . But shhhh! Don't tell anyone!
Arrive early and get your spot right on the water or people will set up in front of you!
Get there early
Was fun! Different! Don't sit to close to the plant life! Gathers lots of bugs !
I will love this place forever!!! My favorite place to be ❤️
VISIT THIS PLACE!! Summer, winter, fall, spring, whatever. It will always look beautiful.
You really need to get there early like before 8:30 to be able to get parking
Come early for parking
Just be sure that if you have a hard bottom kayak/paddle board that you don't come within the buoys of the middle cove.
Nice sandy beach . But 12 dollars to enter parking area.
Bring a beach blanket and spend the day! Great cove
The boulders here make for great photos and kids love climbing on them!
Great beach and family friendly .
Beautiful beach .
A great place to paddle board . Leave from the boat launch area and paddle south to Thunderbird Lodge .
