KL Hokkien Mee $5 is just nice for 1 person, bordering on ‘jelak’. Wet & flavourful (maybe too much MSG). Lots of ‘wok hei ’ (smokiness). Enjoy bits of fried ‘la pok’ (pork lard cubes)

Peanut pancake ($1, located at entrance, next to kopi stall) is the paper-thin crispy style. Too messy; each bite cracks & spills some ground peanuts . Peanut filling was plain — no sugar or flavour

KL-style chilli ban mian $4.50. Spicy bowl of noodles from Damansara Chilly Pan Mee . There’s egg , vege , ikan bilis , minced pork , & a bowl of soup

Generous seating. Lots of food stalls , including the rare Penang Prawn Noodles (Hokkien Mee ), KL Hokkien Mee (black sauce ), & Hai Lam Curry Rice

Char Kway Teow is not bad. Will pass on the curry mee .

Kopi is bitter but lacks aroma. This cup of Kopi-O kosong ‘di lok’ (undiluted) 80-cents on a working day Tue 3:15pm

Penang Road’s Famous Chendol $2.30 was decent. Gula Melaka wasn’t aromatic at all. Coconut milk used did not taste or smell like freshly-made. Very little chendol; had scoop fr below for photo

Char Kuey Teow is very good

KL Wanton Mee ($4.50). Thick slices of char siew (BBQ pork ). Lots of vege but wantan skin was too thick & filling overcooked. Soup was oily but fragrant
