Fitzroy Square

Walked past it for 2 years (and it was always private then)...now I'm working next to it, as an integrated freelance artworker, and I get to use it at lunchtime :)

Everybody has red flowers in their window boxes, apart from a few who’ve purple or white. I like to think they’ve fallen out with the square’s committee and this is their way of fighting the system.

Open garden weekend. Such a tranquil spot , you forget you're in the heart of London !

Lincoln's Inn , Gray's Inn , Bloomsbury Square and Russell Square are better areas for lounging on the grass on a sunny day.

They open the 'private' garden in the center to the public on occasion.

During the day in summer the 'private garden ' in the square is open to all. A lovely spot for lunch .
