If you're trying to find unique local crafts & souvenirs aside from all the cloned shops in the main area... This isn't it. Think Goodwill meets a used bookstore meets your grandma's hoarding problem.
Alot of junk, but still possible to find some fleemarket-treasures. Like this poster of Björk.
Iceland 's only flea market , open on Saturdays and Sundays . Quite an interesting place! Look for authentic Icelandic wool sweaters cheaper here.

Kolaportið flea market • you can find your local knit sweater there. Then try the stockfish if you like it.
Here you can buy lots of different stockfish . And and it's cheap !
Everything you'd pass by at a thrift shop or street fair cloaked in the scent of rotting whale.
Watch where you walk: what seems like it's part of a stall, might actually not be (it's actually private).
