Over all great little BYOB , excellent service and great food (I recommend the lobster ravioli ). BRING CASH or deal with the ATM at the creepy bar across the st because they don't take cards.

It's my favorite byob in Philly, best Italian in the city ! Get any of their seafood pastas , they are all delicious. For vegetarians I would recommend their gnocchi . I've never had better gnocchi !!

Food was delicious, especially the mushroom appetizer . It’s a tight spot but the good meal made it worth it. Also, BYOB is always a huge bonus

BYO ???? serves great pasta ???? and grilled calamari . careful with timing as reservations aren't always honored, and it's cash-only ????. Skip cannoli cake for dessert ; instead try tartufo ???? or tiramisu ???? .

Bring your favorite bottle of wine and an appetite for great Italian food in an intimate environment. Get to this little BYOB early to avoid the crowds, and bring cash!

We’ve eaten their twice and very good both times. Service and atmosphere is nice. The tables can be a little tight if it’s crowded .

La Viola has the best white wine sauce of any Italian BYOB in the city , hands down.

Had an 8pm reservation for 5. By 9, I still hadn't been seated and the staff was ride when I asked when my table was ready. Heard food is great but never got to eat and don't plan on going back!

Great food, but not as good as Branzino . Terrible at honoring reservation times and really crammed inside. Try the one across the street for more space. Delicious tiramisu .

Dinner was very good, but the dessert-especially the tiramisu-was excellent.

Took advantage of $35 dinner take out . Most dishes just mediocre. Salad and mushroom dishes were highlight. Desserts missed the mark

Eat the specials! You'd be surprised how going to the same restaurant feels as a total different experience.

Reservations are obtainable, but you arent guaranteed a table. the food is great, but the place is noisy and small. be careful, there are 2 restuarant locations across the street from one another.
