This is a hidden gem of Santa Cruz! Amazing coffee and amazing beans on sale! We were driving leaving our route and were driving for dozens of files just to stop by here for a cup of pour over coffee !

Light roast is the dominant style, and even though that's not my favorite Verve is still one of the tastiest cups on the planet. Great pastries and a beautiful cafe .

Pour over drip is the way to go for a divine cup. Plenty of seating inside and out for work, conversation or people watching (keep Santa Cruz funky).

Love this coffee shop . Delicious, rich espresso drinks . Tip: I avoid ordering the baked goods here. Have seen some flies going in and out of the pastries .

The best part of Santa Cruz. Arguably the only good part of it. Seriously brilliant baristas who show passion and diligence for their craft.

Street Light, a wet processed espresso roast from Columbia, was available as a cold brew on a nitro tap. Mouth is soft but body is thick syrupy sweet with nut clusters of bitter walnut ; some cherry .

Delicious bowl of soul , great cappuccinos , ice coffee "missile" (just ask them), and the vibe. (never trust a tip from someone who spells it "expresso " 😉).

The pastries here are from Companion Bakeshop and are amazing. The croissants are as good as the ones at Tartine in SF and but a more reasonable size so you don't feel horrible after eating one!

get the cold coffee on nitro. it's the only place I know where it's available. it looks exactly like a beer and it's terrific

A "by the cup" is a pour over coffee . If you have a few extra mins & a couple extra $, this is def the way to go. The selection is like a small batch beer/bourbon/reserve bottling BUT with coffee .

What to Order: The One-and-One, a single macchiato and single espresso placed together on a shared saucer.

Fantastic late art skill is a good indicator of the quality of baristas there.

You're obviously here for the coffee but they have unusually soft sweaters on sale.

Yummy, but very pricey , pastries from manresa . Try the almond croissant .

Trendy third wave coffee shop. Good coffee and a very pretty interior with huge windows for people watching .

Perfect cup of cappuccino . You may also by beans, though the price starts from $14, which is a bit pricy in my opinion.

There's only one outlet (next to the lid/sugar station on the Pacific side), so get there early. Or bring a surge protector and be a hero.
