Orhan Pamuk’s Museum of Innocence was an absolute mesmerizing pleasure, it may look small, but plan 2 hours to truly enjoy the immersive experience and journey of this masterpiece
Quite a long walk from Istitklal. I love how they organized this museum . Most of the collections encased in the glass boxes are a mix of elements, pictures and videos. Its very creative.
Amazing. It's no matter that you read the book or not. Just go there and see the visualized story chapters in place that first person of book just lived and died there with his collection.
For foreign visitors:You dont have to read the novel before coming to museum but it is better for you to take audio guide in order to feel the imagination of novel and soul of Turkish social history.
Unassuming, and almost uninviting from the outside, this is not to be missed. Excellently curated, it provides and audio narrative to accompany a visual curiosity that draws you from box to box.
Bring the book with you and come in for free. 17 TL instead of 25 if you show your museum pass. Using audio guide is helpful, but it's better to read the book first. Wonderful retrospective of 60-70s!
Nobel Laureate Orhan Pamuk 's museum displaying artifacts from his novel Museum of Innocence which tells a love story. The Museum offers a trip through the city ’s past by illuminating Pamuk’s work.
One of the most unique museum and literary experiences of my life. If you have the book or the Kindle version, there's a free ticket in chapter 88, and loaner copies inside for you to peruse.
Really unique museum full of sentiments and sincerity. Lovely story, extremely beautiful building and amazing idea with book ticket.
Pay it a visit, get the audio guide and you will most definitely fall in love with every piece of it.
Even if you didn't read the book there is a good collection of retro items, such as household appliances . Entrance is from side street: Dalgiç Ck. Reduced price if you have museum pass.
Life is not linear, why do so many museums try to lay things out as if it were? This is an exception! — "the greatest happiness a museum can bring: to see time turning into space"

Emeklerinden dolayı sevgili Orhan Pamuk'a sonsuz teşekkürler.
