Great place to walk the dog, especially one who like beaches and water. just make sure you bring water (none on trail ) and a towel for the car (since the dog will be filthy afterwards).

The "Shoreline" picnic area has a sand volleyball court , horseshoes and is close to the bathrooms and playground . Nice spot for a gathering.
