Yankee Stadium is a stadium located in The Bronx in New York City. It is the home ballpark for the New York Yankees. It opened at the beginning of the 2009 MLB season as a replacement for the team's previous home, the original Yankee Stadium, which opened in 1923 and closed in 2008.
1 E 161st St (btwn Jerome & River Ave) Bronx , NY 10451 United States
It's a great new home for the team. It's EXPENSIVE!!! So be prepared to pay a LOT. But if it's an on occasion kind of thing...it's worth it! Behind home plate - nothing like it!
As a Red Sox fan it pains me to give this like! But the CF bleacher seats (cheapest in the house) are great. $11 beer not so great though! There is a nice little craft beer cart right behind bleachers
Go go go! Great experience. If your not Amati an be sure to bring your passport for ID buying beer or you might be left empty handed.
"Are the seats any good?" "We could be playing"
Dining Standouts: Parm (Great Hall between Gates 4 and 6), Lobel 's of New York (sections 134,322), and Brother Jimmy's BBQ (sections 133, 201, 214, 320A). Read more
Looking for a pint of Guinness ? Only place on the 200 level that sells it is this Cocktails place beside section 226. Don't be fooled by the Cocktails place near 210, no dice & they are a trek apart .
Best seats in the house are the top deck behind home plate. Super affordable with great a view of the whole stadium .
Don't drive to Yankee Stadium. The 4, B & D trains will all let you off right in front of the stadium at 161st Street. If you're coming from Westchester or CT take the Metro North to 153rd Street,
Visit the Yankee Museum and take a look at the wall of signed baseball 's. You'd be surprised at the Yankees you'll see. This is a stadium doesn't feel like a ballpark.
#1 tip: DO NOT bring a laptop. I repeat: NO LAPTOPS. If you did, the lockers are near dunkin' donuts across the street.
Get here early and check out monument park or walk around the park . Grab a steak sandwich from Lobel 's. For the ultimate experience watch the game with the Bleacher Creatures in section 203!
I absolutely enjoyed the game when I went here I recommend doing the Hall of fame Park first considering it packs up fast and after that find your seat and enjoy the wonderful Yankees game
Get a cheap bleacher seat and buy all of your beers from BEERS OF THE WORLD behind section 237. Diverse draft beer selection and no credit card minimum !
Nothing beats the old Yankee Stadium. But you can't go wrong at a Yankee game. Tons of real expensive vendors to blow money on so you can definitely find something for everyone. Beyond peanuts n dogs.
3 places you have to visit here: Monument Park , Yankees Museum and the giant Yankee Stadium Store--overpriced like the beer , but anything you could want with the NY on it!
While colossal by stadium standards, this is a redo from the original that BabeRuth played in. Check out the plaza with historic plaques . Concerts , soccer , and football have been hosted here as well .
Team affiliations aside, catching a game at one of New York's baseball stadiums is a summer must. The best eats here include Parm , Lobel 's steak sandwiches , Brother Jimmy's BBQ , & any cheese fries
Get to the stadium early and check out Monument Park in center (it closes 45 minutes prior to game time). Just don't be shocked to see Steinbrenner's plaque dwarfing those of actual legends. So wrong.
M won tix on field level frm WFAN. Happy I made it out to enjoy this beautiful day, lovely seats & see Aaron Judge hit a Grand Slam! A fly ball landing in my lap would put me over the moon! ⚾️ 🙏☀️🕶😇
Get your garlic fries on the first level, near section 110. If you gotta make it to the upper deck, might as well eat on the way there! GO, YANKEES!!
Super interesting stadium tour . Monument Park , Judge’s chambers and Team Museum included. Worth every penny for real hardcore Yankee fans.
My favorite seats are the first rows above either bullpen out in the bleachers . Watch your favorite pitchers warm-up and sit out with the Bleacher Creatures.
If you have a laptop with you, you must deposit it (for $20) in a locker at the Yankees Shop across the street. They will give you a key, which you show to security to let you into the game.
it took me a long time to find the giant frozen drinks . they are on the main level near home on the 3rd base side (see reference photo I took). pretty pricey but tasty and fun. ask for mixed flavors!
I’ve never thrown a perfect game. I have thrown a nearly flawless cocktail party before the game, which has to count for something.
Good sight lines abound in field , main and terrace levels. Seats behind the plate, primo for ballgames, work well enough for concerts like Madonna's larger than life, MDNA tour stop.
If you are native to the area and want a reason to run along the outfield sign up for the Runyon 5K. The race is held each August when the Yankees are on the road . It's a great race for a great cause.
Beer sales stop at the end of the 6th inning in the bleachers to keep things from getting rowdy. Don't worry, walk 200ft over to the concessions in the concourse, they're open till the end of the 7th.
Stop by section 120a on the field level concourse and say hello to Yankee Stadium's most friendly security guard - Chris "Smoov" Johnson. Some great standing room views of the field from here too!
Great atmosphere, you can get an amazing view from any part of the ballpark and the seats are comfortable . Hit the Hard Rock Café after the 7th inning, pretty decent specials. Yanks forever!
Of course everyone will miss the old one. I got to take the Subway by there everyday and watch as they built the new place. And have had a chance to see a game in the new and old stadium ....
The Yankee Stadium app can come in handy when you want to order items to your seats, but you have to tip in cash.
The Hard Rock Cafe has a hidden entrance to the stadium that lets you avoid all the lines . Make like you're heading to the bathroom and keep going for a straight shot in!
Don't bring your laptop! It's not allowed in the premises. If you do happen to bring it, there's a garage near Stan's that offers a locker for $10.
Test this out at a game: NYU psychologists found that loyal Yankees fans are more likely than non-fans to underestimate the distance between New York and the home cities of the Yankees’ top rivals. Read more
Awesome venue to see a game. Huge crowds after the game getting on the subway so be prepared.
AWESOME experience, a total must for any new visit to NY. Don't know much about the rules, yet was still super fun. Super expensive once in, but overpriced burgers and beer are part of the experience.
Get a big cold beer and enjoy the game. Try to take a cab but if you have to take the subway try bring it with enough funds. Things get kinda crazy after a game.
It'll always be Yankees 'new' home to me - it's an epic venue and even the cheap nosebleed seats give you some amazing views . Also - Bronx sunsets = best
The beer selection was pretty lame and no one seemed to know who David Wells is. Like cmon the guy throws a perfect game for the Yankees but you can't find a single thing with his name on it.
Wasn't able to see the Yank's play, but the tour was well worth doing! They do a great job and let you see the entire place! One of the nicest MLB stadiums you'll find!
So much fun!! Recommend to anyone to experience once even if you're not a baseball fan.
The today’s Yankee Stadium is a replacement for the original Yankee Stadium from 1923. The new one included several design elements from the previous - a tribute to the Yankees team history.
Been to both the OLD and NEW Yankee Stadium..the Old stadium was the best place to watch a baseball game in the history of the game...no doubt & New Stadium is amazing!! Be an All American and stop by
Yankee Stadium may seem like an obvious place to visit for the game, but there is more to see if you take a tour of the stadium . The tours are cheap and viewers can visit a Museum of old Yankee gear.
No seat is a bad seat!! But a $5 ticket that puts you in row one right by the 3rd baseline...is the perfect place to spend a gorgeous summer night<3
It's Yankee Stadium what else do you need to know? Drink elsewhere beforehand so you don't need to buy as many $11 beers during the game. They do serve Bronx Beer so don't settle!
Be sure to not to get food during halftime at NYCFC games; the lines are atrocious (ice cream may be exception). If you are field level, stay after the match ends. Players are known to come by!
Bronx Bombers although newer stadium an amazing piece of America of the most success with a team with the most memories for baseball fans
Definitely get Lobel 's steak sandwich and garlic fries . Two things worth waiting in line for.
Wings, salads, nachos, burger and fries, fajitas, EVERYTHING! - Dana Repasch Merville Mooney
If you're a die-hard Yankee fan, you CANNOT miss out on this gem of a museum. The wall of baseballs signed by former and current Yankees is just amazing. - Karen
Yankees, beer and bbq bacon. Too bad the price is sooooo high! - Living Jazz Archive
A great place to enjoy the majestic (and expensive) structure that is Yankee Stadium III. Don't miss the BRAND NEW Torrisi brothers Parm Stand for awesome $14 meatball or turkey sandwiches. - Yankee Stadium Insider
Lots of benches make it a nice place to hang & eat a sandwich before a Yankee game. - Danielle
Great for pre-Yankees games drinks right across from the stadium. Nice option of drinks on an upper outside terrace. - Edward Gable Jr
Garlic fries were really good. Also the double which is chicken sandwich was so good. - Michelle Stangl
Our favorite bar to visit before heading into the stadium. It gets pretty crowded, but when you're paying a fraction of the price for a beer versus at the game, it's worth pushing through the crowds. - The Corcoran Group
