It would be better if the chapels, the keep, the halls and the towers were well kept. The columns were shaky and the walls wobbly. But the view at the top of the towers was worth seeing.
If you don't want to pay to go in, there's a nice path around the perimiter
Lovely castle . The 50p guide is soooo worth it. Views from the tower are spectacular
Climb the tower . There's brilliant views of the countryside and the town .
