Rotating exhibits and a number of fixed exhibits . Love to take my children here. Indoor water and sand play areas for toddlers and older children. Encourages play and learning for all ages.
Check out the Beyond Earth Spaceship exhibit (starts 6/25/16 and watch the 12 minute movie there...try to get the middle seat in the middle row for best view and feel the vibration).

Awsome museum . If you plan to visit more than once get a membership though. Great around the holdiays. The theatre and planetarium are really great. Food court so-so but good for a break.

This place is legit when it comes to learning about the Cretaceous period. There are fossils, a lab manned by paleontologists, and a dig zone that lets kids practice looking for dinosaur bones. Read more
We could spend the whole day there and we don't have any kids. What a great way to enjoy the day and learn some unique things. The dinosaurs were my favorite.

The Take Me There: China exhibit was good and the dinosaurs (including the mummy) are incredible! We spent hours there and could have stayed even longer.
You can get into the store without going in the whole museum . Store opens up to the xmas wonderland slide, live carols, and giant snow globe
Look for QR codes to scan around the museum that point to fascinating articles or entertaining videos!
Purchase a membership & plan to go a few times per month. Visit all the exhibits on 1-2 floors each visit. Then after experiencing it all...do it again! Your kids will have fun & learn so much!

Purchase your tickets online at least 24 hrs. before your visit and add free Planetarium tickets to your order. That way you don't have to wait in a long line .
If you're coming more than once a year, the annual membership is a good deal . If you have young children, it will probably take you more than a day to see everything.
Get here early to sign the kids up for the free rock climbing . When the doors open at 10am run to the fourth floor to sign up at the counter.

Must go to when visiting the city if you have kids. Tickets are pricey though. They should use the city 's tax dollars towards lowering ticket prices.

The new Hot Wheels exhibit is just okay. I wish the Legos exhibit would stay longer! It's our favorite!!
I just said wow the first time I saw this place, I was blown away with all their stuffs for kids my nephew was so happy.

The Santa at TCM is the best around! He's great at convincing even the most hesitant kiddos to come sit on his lap and divulge their Christmas list.
