Great date spot for Michelin starred New American at reasonable prices. The steak and short ribs was fantastic and big enough for two. Crispy artichoke salad and pastries , too.
At Meadowsweet Polo, Dobkin treats octopus like a bathing beauty in this hyper-attractive presentation flavored with chorizo , basil oil, and thin strips of glistening red pepper . Read more
SO GOOD!!! We had a selection of the apps to share and I had the truffle pasta - delish. Great service and beautiful space (former desslers). Nice outdoor seating as well .
The tasting menu is a great value and I was pleasantly surprised that my boyfriend and I mostly got different dishes, allowing us to sample more! Standouts were crispy artichokes and squid ink pasta
Get the olive oil rolls, the empanadas , and the steak ! —The duck was good, and so was the burrata dish, but the top three things were must have. The dessert was good, but not incredible.
Everything on this menu is really special and delicious. Hand rolled pasta app was amazing. The plancha marina was a modest main course and I suffered food envy to those who ordered other stuff.
Good spot for date night or groups! Our group (6 ppl) had a wonderful dinner here. Highlights include octopus , short ribs , and scallop cerviche ! Cocktails are well-made too! Worth the Michelin star !
Well , for being open for a week, you have my attention and taste buds! Delicious from perfectly crafted cocktails with in house herbs to amazing complementary profiteroles. Worth the trek to Brooklyn.
Those delightful microgreens on your raviolo? Oh, those were grown in the restaurant , on the herb mezzanine. The menu rotates daily to feature fresh ingredients , but mains typically max out at $30. Read more
Fantastic tasting! For 2, each person gets a different dish per course essentially letting you try the whole menu. Everything was great but the pastas , seafood and steak entrees stood out.
Everything we tried was great-fluke crudo , cavatelli , black sea bass , hanger steak , and the panna cotta . Order the Smoke Gets in Your Rye cocktail .
Loved the roasted artichoke , asparagus , scallops , pretty much the entire menu. And the duck entree was incredible! The coconut macaroons at the end were a dream, too. So good!
The omelette is deliciously healthy. Get a cup of punch to wash it down and end with the house donuts , freshly made ! But the best part is most definitely the music , great tunes 👌
The restaurant succeeding The Dressler has been turned into an American-Mediterranean restaurant by chef Polo Dobkin . Brunch is the ideal meal here, thanks to the generous amount of natural lighting .
Great food (cauliflowers are tasty!), desserts are amazing( tarte tatin ), cocktails and wines as well , we really enjoyed the atmosphere there.
low prize one michelin star restaurant.Burrata peefect. articokes delicious. duck is perfect. other meals are delicious.good service for the price.vine menu satisfactory.one of the best for that price
The scallops were a stand out from an excellent 5-course tasting menu , with brilliantly matched wines thanks to an engaged and enthusiastic sommelier .
This place is a winner with an affordable but high-quality tasting menu , unpretentious ambience, and quite possibly the best duck I have ever tasted. My only complaint would be the poor service.
All 3 egg variations at my table were prepared perfectly at brunch . The poached eggs were 2 tear drop shaped piles of deliciousness on top of a savory bed of duck confit . Highly recommended.
Recommend octopus , scallop ceviche , grilled artichokes , cod , branzino , pork chop , & leave room for dessert ! Coconut cream pie & the plum galette w/cinnamon ice cream . Bathrooms downstairs & unisex!
Pastry chef Jared Rubin cooks peaches in caramel , stuffs them into a classic puff pastry , bakes it all, and serves it hot with cool housemade lemon-verbena ice cream that has blueberry jam swirled in.
Best restaurant in bk. Every bite is a party in your mouth. Sample one plate from all 4 categories. Ra ra rye rocks. Chef polo is the man too. Get here before Michelin madness strikes.
Amazing tasting menu with a few surprises here and there. Make special requests at the beginning if you have preferences (I love scallops haha). Cocktails were just okay, stick with wine maybe?
A go to spot for date night and other special occasions . Absolutely love the artichoke appetizer . The bread is delicious. Solid wine selection . Beautiful interior .
Perfect service and apps are amazing. Looking forward to more. Better than the Dressler so far (as it occupies the same space). Love the decor, wine list .. All!
Truffle egg toast and the flour less chocolate cake are amazing. Everything else we ate was really good too. Perfect for the price. Really good for dates
Everything I've had here is excellent. Short rib was a highlight. Recently had a pork loin served with a side of bacon , also delicious. Not cheap , but worth it.
The cuscino and all the other starters are awesome. Also they were able to do a puréed potato side for our baby daughter.
An absolutely amazing new spot. Food is killer, drinks out of this world, and the transformation of the space from Dressler is rather unbelievable. A real must try.
Delicious food! We had the artichoke salad , mushroom pasta with truffle , pork chop , and duck breast . All delicious
Meadowsweet is awesome. Been here a few times and every meal has been delicious. It's a bit of a "special occasion " kind of place though - a bit pricey .
Had a great meal here. Comfy and stylish decor . The scallop ceviche (pictured) and octopus were delicious!
Chef Polo Dobkin returns to his old stomping grounds. The space is lighter and brighter now, and the brunch menu includes huevos rancheros , a burger , and fresh doughnuts with jam .
The duck ! Wow! So good. It reminded me of a perfectly cooked New York strip steak , but with a crunchy, caramelized , spicy skin. Perfect.
My favorite restaurant in Williamsburg at the moment, everything is delicious and their dishes are creative. The sommelier knows his stuff
The black fettuccine and the Spanish chorizo and octopus are amazing! The roasted chicken and the duck are good but not mind blowing.
Save room for desserts : the pastry chef likes to cut loose, drizzling ice cream with olive oil or sprinkling marcona almonds on a lemon ice cream tart . Read more
One of the best brunches I've ever had. Excellent service , low prices, quality food, attentive staff . Get the fry sauce/dip.
The spicy cocktail is fantastic. DO NOT skip the artichoke hearts . My girl loved the homely and modern decor
Solid brunch , donuts where a great appetizer . Check out the rose selection
Hidden gem , amazing food, creative and augmenting authentic ingredients. Great atmosphere, trendy and relaxed.
its all quite good! the apps stand out the most - soups , trout salad . Maybe get a few more small dishes to share vs a standard entree?
Burrata with squash chips , duck pappardelle , wagyu skirt steak all money. Devil cocktail
Came here for brunch and didn't want to leave. Duck confit hash was so good. Definitely start with the doughnuts !
Try the scallop ceviche , and the roasted baby carrots . Bread is delicious, and cocktails are great!
Cute outdoor seating on a quieter Williamsburg street. Coffee cocktail is delicious with brunch !
Great selection of wine for a lazy afternoon drink. Recommend the commanderie rosé for a warm summer's day
Seafood cooked to meltiness. Crazy good yeast dinner rolls . Yay! Lovely girls' night or date spot .
Best brunch in Williamsburg with a menu full of traditional brunch items.
Brunch : The wagyu beef empanadas were the best thing we had. The crispy chicken sandwich was not good, the chicken was dark meat. The duck hash was pretty good.
Forget everything else. Order the grilled bread and the eggplant w/ rabbit. #happiness - Noah
All the food was great here. The eggplant is surprisingly very good. Get the bread. All mains were on point. No complaints, except for walk in wait. Reccommend reservation! - Czarina Behrends
Everything is good. This is my first time for brunch and I enjoyed it. I had the brisket burger and it was quite tasty. The view outside of the bridge is stunning. - Fred D
Best brunch I've been to in a while. The potatoes are magical. Order the awake and Bake! The Bloody Mary bar is overkill in sauces and lacking cheese unfortunately. - Jordan Isaacson
Best place to see the sunset. Relaxing place. Really an amazing view. - Leisl Evans
It's gotten a bit pretentious in the last year, but the cocktails are still fab! Great old fashioned and try the Alabama Fever w cinnamon zest! - Theo Aronson
