Ara Kafe

I adore rice pudding . But the sutlac (Turkish version of it) in this café is some of the best i ever had. No alcohol in this café , but you will not regret it, with great deserts , fresh ginger ale , etc

It is a cute cafe with delicious desserts . As you enjoy your dessert , you can have a taste of Ara Guler’s photos on the walls and look at photography books which are placed on the bookshelf.

I've always admired this cafe for the tasty food and elegant service but the roast beef salad has definitely taken me to another point in admiration.strongly recommended for meat lovers!5 stars❤️

Very calm and cozy place with the wonderful photos of Ara Güller. Little bit overpriced but the atmosphere is worth it. Herbal tea is great. The right place to stretch your legs after long walk.

Good place to hang out, good ambiance. Though slightly expensive , but Food is really amazing. If you are visiting Istanbul, do look up and try this place at Taksim.

When you are tired of the crowded Istiklal you MUST come here. Cosy european lovely place with great soundtrack and friendly staff .

Stunning place, loved the atmosphere, the food, everything. Can't find any faults!!! The cat is friendly , but a little greedy and does NOT like to be picked up!!

They have soup . The portions of main dishes are big, be prepared. One plate of pasta is more then enough for two people. Salads are big too

Cozy and beautiful with a nice terrece. As an ice cream-o-Holic, Yaşar Usta vanilla ice cream was disappointingly ordinary. But I definitely suggest their delicious sütlaç and chocolate cake .

Is it with cheese (I don’t remember the name!) was very delicious. Also a good place for having breakfast due to its great location.

A cozy place. Its menu is not based on a large variety, still it is good. The deserts can be too much for one person. Value for money .

The heaviness of Ara’s absence could be felt... his soul’s still lives with the place. The kafe’s really welcoming and warm. They have a great cool ginger beer too.

Super cozy spot just off the street. Try the "Ara Breakfast " for a nice selection of traditional Turkish small sides. I see the locals ordering it. Add Turkish coffee .

Very central and cozy . Great place for breakfast and coffee .Better try more traditional tastes and don't forget to check the photos are inside the coffee place .

I visited this restaurant 4 days ago and I still can honestly say that Chicken Mushroom-Curry Sauce dish was absolutely sensational!! I think it was cooked in heaven or something!!

The cookie platter is an unpretentious delicacy. For the final sugar overdose, pair it with their amazing lemonade .

Such a cool vibe. Love the art work. Didn't have a real meal though had the chocolate cake for dessert , which was pretty good.

Come on a saturday afternoon and you may be lucky enough to run into the mythical turkish photographer Ara Güler. Also, be sure to visit his personal museum right on the floor above.

Trendy spot just off the bustling Istiklal Avenue. Borek was great. I would recommend the cheese over meat borek .

Friendliest customer service I've experienced in awhile. They'll take care of you for sure, whether you're ordering a glass of tea or a full-on meal.

The Turkish coffee is a must Tip:Although a non-sugar drinker myself, I find the medium option smoother and better to the taste here

Beautiful place on istiklai! Slightly hidden from the main road . Idle for coffee and reading

The mante is good but doughy (so depends on whether you like it that way). Service was good but the atmosphere was great.

cappuccino was hot and without emulsion, which ended the drink we ordered, we were not warned about this, in a position that added expense we did not order. cheesecake was delicious

Great atmosphere, with terrace in alley, close to galataseray lisesi. Look at the photographs on the wall. No license but simple, decent food.
