Kopi. Locals in neighbourhood zoom in on Nan Yuan Beverage #01-12. Owner/chief barista has an uncanny skill: he takes orders of 4-5 customers, makes all drinks, & serve them in correct order!

Shan Yuan vegetarian food is da bomb! Healthy brown rice w veggies & tofu . My only concern is the sweetness in the sauces. Thumbs up nonetheless!

Prata was tasty & crispy from Zaafira #01-04. No wonder it's extra busy on weekends

Yuan Li noodle is my favorite. Eating this noodle reminds me of my childhood days. Be prepared to wait though on Saturday of up to 30 minutes. I think the shop is closed on Sunday.

Turtle soup at stall 01-30, too sweet and salty. Turtle meat is soft and tender, good. Closed on Monday & Tuesday. Price is high for market area.

Parking . There's a basement parking below the wet market for abt 40 cars. Enter fr Bedok Reservoir Rd. If full, plenty of open-air bays nearby

Tried so called popular Xiang Ji Chicken Rice . I can only say it's worth 5/10. The 'xiang' don't exist. This is my $3 portion

Wantan mee . Nothing noteworthy fr Keng Lock #01-32. Char siew (BBQ pork ) slices were butchered . Wantans were haphazardly made. Saving grace was the soup :-P

Fishball noodles . Unimpressed with bowl from Yuan Li #01-25. Fishballs had too much water, can't sense any fish flavours. Fishcake slices were overly firm. Overall offering lacked aroma or flavours

Noodles . Yong Li #01-15 overcooked our noodles , spoiling overall taste of our wantan mee & chicken feet noodles . Wantans were tasty though

We always patronize Long Fa Yong Tao Foo stall. They have quite a nice variety and serve the fried items from the rest separately!

Everything is here! I really love this neighbourhood!

Order fishball mee pok ta from Long Fa yong tau fu stall #01-15. You will not be disappointed

"630 Vegetarian " is a must try!! The light yet flavorful variety of vegetarian dishes will definitely revolutionize your taste buds!

"Xiang Ji" Chicken rice ranked 7th out of 10 nationwide for "Best Hawker Chicken Rice Stall"Keng Lock wantan mee . though waiting time varies from 10mins to 45mins. worth a try.

Fishball Noodles & Meatball Soup is one of the best here. Store facing 7-11.

Guang Liang kueh chup is one of the best kueh chup you can find in Singapore!

Guan Liang Cooked Food, #01-35, very yummy kway chup! The garlic infused soup is extremely fragrant! =)

I like the turtle soup , #01-30. they off o every monday & tuesday.
