World class chef Thomas Keller + his former executive pastry chef/coauthor Sebastien Rouxel of the Bouchon Bakery cookbook are a fantastic team putting out macarons , muffins , and flakey croissants
If you want to escape the crowd, bring your sandwiches and pastries and walk five minutes to the French Laundry garden , where you can have a picnic .
Try all of the pastries and baked goodies ! Make sure to bring treats back for friends and family. Yes, be THAT loving, sweet person. :)
The coffee cake was to die for - by far the best I've ever had. Perfect to enjoy with black coffee while basking in the warm sun in their outdoor seating area . Arrive early to avoid long queues.
Pastry game is ON POINT. can’t leave without a classic croissant , apple pastry of some sort and a coffee .
Once inside, you’ll be mesmerized by beautifully arranged and freshly baked baguettes , croissants , tarts , éclairs , macarons and donuts — and that’s just for starters. Read more
This is a world-class Bakery part of Thomas Keller’s esteemed class of restaurants . Best almond croissant ever! And the rest of the selection is stellar! This should be on any foodies bucket list!
Come for the indulgent pastries , delicate Viennoiserie, and perfect macarons in seasonal flavors (my faves are PB&J, espresso , and lemon ), but expect a line out the door at all hours of the day.
I always stop in and decide what to buy after ????. TKO is my favorite treat because it's not too sweet, and the chocolate bouchon is like the best brownie you've ever had!
Worth the hype. Of course there’s a line , but it moves quickly. Don’t miss out on the savory options! Loved the Brie LT.
If spending 1h+ queueing for croissants or baguette , however good they might be, is your thing, go right ahead and line up!
The brioche can be a little stale at the end of the day, but that's my only complaint! Be sure to try the "oh no you didn't" chocolate covered macarons and the "oh-ohs" which is their take on a ho-ho.
Everything tasted amazing! Had the cream cheese danish , eclair , and lemon tart , all were incredible. Worth the wait in line and the price.
Yes, it is worth the wait! It is about the experience of waiting in line as much as it is about the pastries .
pain au chocolate and to-go macarons for good measure. the patio has plenty of seating and heaters to fight the early morning chill .
Seriously had the best donut in my life here... soft and moist, filled with a maple walnut custard . It just melts in your mouth... I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Delicious pasteries, cookies , bread , coffee . If you are visiting Bottega then you may want to stop by Bouchon. The weekend queue is crazy!
The first bite of any of the pastries will make the line worth the wait. My favorite: dulce de leche macaron
The prices are spending, but the baked goods are out of this world! We always load up on an assortment of whatever they have out
Choose from pastries . Do not try baguette or meal-type bread . Almond croissant is a must try
Don't get the macarons , they're way too big and sweet. Instead get their cookies , doughnuts , and savory food like their sandwiches . Love their ham and cheese baguette .
Close your eyes and start pointing. Pay for whatever you pointed at. Then enjoy your brilliant choices on the patio
Start your morning with some fresh baked bread and coffee from Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery or order champagne and oysters from the bar at Bouchon Restaurant . Read more
Best pistachio macaron and pretty big in size. Eat it slightly chilled so the filling doesn't melt.
I mean it's no Tartine but it is worth the trip.
Highly recommend the almond croissant and cherry chocolate chip scone (and macarons if you're into them)
Obviously their croissants and baguettes were fire, but my favorite was their cheese roll . So good!
Prepare for a bit of a line , but well worth it. Croissants and seasonal donuts are great!
If you have any affinity toward Salted Caramel , get the large Salted Caramel Macaron ... Everything else was phe-nom-in-al too!
The chocolate chip cookies are famous around the world. The best surprise were the "Ohnoyoudidnt" cookies : Chocolate-covered macarons
The chocolate almond croissant is life changing! The macarons are amazing as well and are gluten free for the gf people!
The wait is incredibly long, but the macarons were not that badly priced - consistent in price with other bakeries . Amazing baguette too!
The line moves fast- promise! Salted caramel coffee drinks are so delicious here.
Yummy macarons ! Never goes wrong with the flavor! Any flavor tastes perfect!
Worth the calories! Big and not too sweet. Awesome afternoon snack for sharing :)
The almond croissant is incredibly layered, buttery and has some weight behind it!
Oh my God!!! You have to try the Oh Oh's!!! Chocolate Heaven!!!
The PBC's are a solid staple and the chocolate almond croissant is a heavenly breakfast
If there is one thing that you "should not miss" it's a trip to Bouchon Bakery! Prepare to be delighted by an amazing selection of pastries and breads .
Love the macaroons and the baguettes ... Friendly staff as well . Well worth the hour drive.
Want a cozy soul warming drink this Fall and Winter? Try the Eggnog latte . Of course it's always amazing with a scone or anything that comes thru the bakery door!
Stop in for a Pistachio macaron . But don't miss the selection of sandwiches , great for your picnic lunch at one of the wineries .
Everything was just beautiful!! Best macarons ????????????
The almond croissant is the best pastry I've ever had.
Come here and try the quiche ! It has a creamy, velvety texture, like a custard !
A must visit during your stay. Get some macaroons , a baguette and the croissants .
Shorter wait times during prime dinner hours. The macarons are huge.
Simply the best bakery I have been to in California. Macaroons to die for
Great pastries for the morning after, excellent coffee . Fun to take home a little piece of Bouchon or a foie gras biscuit for Fido.
Tasty breakfast sandwich on oprah's favorite english muffin. Albeit the eggs seem precooked. Blueberry scone is good. - Bommy
Friendly and helpful staff. Currently observing COVID-19 precautions. Ample parking. Beautiful setting. - Hard Rocker
Outstanding chilaquiles. Flavorful and delicious. The breakfast potatoes are tangy and spicy. Well done. Coffee is great too. Don’t forget to order a side of bacon as well. - Andrew Layman
One of my favorite places for wine tasting. Where else to get to sample great wines from different vineyards? - Stephen Hau
Round up your favorite food nerds & hit the terrazzo, a cozy space with strings of light on the ceiling, a large stone fireplace & ample seating. It's the perfect spot for eating short rib meatballs. - Men's Health Mag
