Phillip G. is wrong. Official City of San Diego map of communities shows Mira Mesa extends from the 805 to the 15 & from MCAS Miramar to Los Penasquitos Canyon. Sorrento Valley's on other side of 805.
Hate to tell you this Christiane, but Scranton Rd is in Sorrento Valley or Sorrento Mesa as its been called too. Just because its off Mira Mesa Blvd doesn't make it in Mira Mesa.
