It's a peaceful place with soft and white sand . I recommend to go here at sunset , because last time I saw a dolphin swimming close to the shore.If you want you can bring chairs and enjoy nature fully

The sand is wonderful, almost like powdered sugar . Be prepared to have it EVERYWHERE. Totally worth it though. Also, watch out for the sea gulls...they're dangerous if you have food...

The sugar sand. Great shells and small shark teeth too. Restaurants can be pricy . Back in Sarasota head for Amish area near Bahia VistaTrl, look for Amish restaurant that does the best food.

Make sure to hit the Drum Circle Sunday evenings, one hour before sunset at the Public Beach . The Village , North end of Siesta Key, has many restaurants and shops.

Finest sand in the world. Make sure you time the sunset . Great for sea shells too, I actually found better shells here than on Sanibel Island .

Best beach by far! Stay in the siesta key village the Beach club is great for night life. The best with that key west feel and great food is skobs! Siesta Key Oyster Bar . Best place on the key!

Lovely laid back place . Has a sand bar that allows you to go pretty far out and the waves hit the bar first.

parking : come around 1:00 - all the old folks are leaving and you can stalk spots pretty easily. If you get really desperate park at the church around the corner for a small ($2-5) donation and walk!

The sand truly feels as amazing as everyone says. It's so soft & fine! Be ready for a crowd. Shallow area, great for kids. Water is relatively calm .

Powder fine sand and beautiful water. Picnic benches in shaded areas made it the perfect place for a day. Free parking was a plus.

I love living here, and the beach is amazing! Try and stay away from the public beach and head south a little. Much less people. :)

Rent the umbrella and lounge chairs if you're gonna be there all day. It's a convenience if you don't have them or are traveling out of town and they're too bulky to pack/ fly with.
