Free admission , open till 11pm, but be ready to wait in long queues. If the weather is good, you will see spectacular city view with Fuji behind the skyline.

Kyle Lyons

great view , serious photographers and timelapsers beware. No tripods allowed. No even Gorilla Pods or mini tripods. They even stop you from resting your camera on the ledge. Got a few though :)

Nicolas D

Cafeteria on 32nd floor of building 1 is open to the public. Great and cheap food with an amazing view ! Enjoy!

Come for sunset . It’s really phenomenal.

Don’t miss to go up to the observatory either north or south tower. It is free and you get the best view ! Anytime you go is breath taking, there is a souvenir shop in the middle and piano if you play

Isaac Ellison

The Government building is a great substitute to get a view of the town and pictures. It's free and there's a nice souvenir shop on the top floor. Please be careful because sometimes it's so foggy.

Jeffrey R

Open till 10:30pm . Best time to capture photos qithout glare is sunset . If you come during day the 35th floor cafateria is open to the public and is cheap .

Alejandro Hernández

Free observatory with great views ! Make sure to go just at sunset . The next half an hour the city shades are blue and the lights start to be turned on.

Yuen Haw Hor

A must visit when in Tokyo. Come during the day or night for a spectacular view of the entire city at the north and south observatories . Best thing: its totally free!

Laurelle B

Don’t let the lines scare you away. It moves super quick and everything is incredibly organized - as everything in Japan.

Yuri Ramocan

Free panoramic views of Tokyo in the north and south observation decks . The north observation deck is open later. Just as good as (if not better than) Tokyo Tower .

Jay S

Climb up to 45th floor to enjoy gorgeous views of the skyline of Great Tokyo. There is a tourist office in the basement floor. Free access. Highly recommended, a must see.

zeb300

Tokyo view for free: Almost all tourist guidebooks tell you to visit other places for a good city view . But you need to pay in those places. Here, at the city hall , it is for free.

ZhiWei Lim

Go to lvl 45 for the view ! It is free! Pls note that the south tower closes at 530pm and last entrance is at 5pm. North tower opens till 10pm. According to the lady south tower view is nicer

Jeffrey Kao

Sure, there's the Skytree and Tokyo Tower , but this spot is free and also has a ridiculous view of Tokyo. Go to Shinjuku afterwards and get some food and drank.

Jim Vail

The view from the 45th floor is great but if you go during lunchtime then go back up to the 32nd floor to the cafeteria for good cheap meals.

AJ

Great because it's free. I've been to 3 view points (Tokyo tower , Park Hyatt and this one)... And still think the Tokyo Tower is best among these three.

Melissa D.

Free observation decks open until dark. Really amazing views . If you're lucky, Mt. Fuji might be visible in the distance.

A M

Free access. Great views of this amazing city . Come during sunset to see the sun set behind Mount Fuji .

nocturnics

i believe it's closed saturday an sunday but the view is amazing a must see while in Tokyo an even you don't speak japanese you'll be okay

Jimena Piano

One of the few gift shops that stays open until late! Also the view at night is amazing so it's worth going there by night.

Sebas

Great view of the city . Although, the North Tower has only some windows to overlook the city . A lot of reflections in those. Not the best photo-op

Ruben Garcia Mohedano

Must visit, you’ll realise how wide Tokyo spreads. South tower has the best views but North feels nicer and has a better cafe

Jeff Woo

Grab a beer (http://foodmento.com/dish/8991) at the Good View (Y500 happy hour 4-6pm) for the best views .

Nick Saretzky

Great view , no line , and it's free. Enjoy the advertisements for other prefectures and a gift shop .

Natasha Rooney

South tower usually open till 5, north open till 11. North has a large restaurant which takes up some of the view so head to south if it's still open!

Stephen O'Leary

Much better than Tokyo Tower if you want a great (and free) view over Tokyo.

Kate Catling

Free observation deck on the 45th floor . North Observatory is closed on 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, South - 1st and 3rd Tuesday.

Benedicte Soteras

Free city view ! Queues seem long but move fast in the evening. There's also a souvenir shop at the main deck.

Farah J

Head up to the 45th floor to get a good view of the Tokyo skyline for free ????

nocturnics

the view from here is amazing. i believe it's closed on saturday and sunday keep this in mind

Fraser McIntosh

Though behind windows and alongside a tacky gift shop the view is great and free

Mel of CSJ CSJ

Beautiful night view at a great price - free! Staff very friendly . Gift shop includes postcards.

Sedat Ö.

Walking distance to Shinjuku, free observatory deck at 45th floor . Can see Fuji in clear weather

Great view , very high up, they search your bag before letting you go up so pack accordingly.

A free view of Tokyo from the top! It's open till 11:00pm most days, but the last time to enter is 10:30.

Cheap option if you want to see the city . Get a chance to see Mt.Fuji on a good day.

Candid Cuisine

Free entrance to their observatory and on sunnier, clear days, lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji

MRTR O.

Amazing and free view from the top. No need to pay for Skytree.

Great views for no money, but if you go at night be prepared to deal with loads of reflections off the window glass.
