If you love metal/punk rock, this is the bar for you. Bring quarters for the pool table and drink a few (read 5-7) Lone Stars . Guys, the bathroom is safe although it may not look it.

They have live music on their outdoor patio on Saturday nights, and when it gets a little chilly, they light their outdoor fire pits . A perfect location for a relaxing and inexpensive night in Dallas.

Seriously came here at 10 for the best quesadillas in the world and they said they stopped serving at 10. They totally made my night by helping a sister out and making them anyway. Love this damn bar

The bar feels more like a house (with a bar and a pool table in it) and the front porch may or may not fall down before you finish your first beer , but that's what makes dive bars exciting.

This South Dallas bar welcomes dogs every day of the week. Monday to Saturday they must be leashed, but Sunday is no-leash day when dogs get to run around in the large fenced yard.

Lee Harvey’s sells one of my favorite beers , Lone Star , and the bartenders even remember to let me solve the riddles under the caps before trashing them.

I love the grilled cheese sandwich (ask them to add tomato and sour cream ), the Roadrunner, and their famous onion rings .
