National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

This memorial hall is literally a stone's throw away from Taipei 101, so don't forget to visit it. The Royal Guards change every hour which is nice to see, though expect huge Chinese crowds.

The Garden is quite surreal. Nice resting area which can be cooling and relaxing. There were some ladies resting indoors. During the right season you may get to see nice flowering trees .

If you come at the right time there is guard marching ceremony. You also get a short tour of the museum and you can see a clear view of Taipei 101 from here

Such a short walking distance from Taiwan 's tallest landmark-Taipei 101. Definitely a place worthwhile to visit

Dedicated to Republic of China's founding father, this memorial is home to his 9-foot bronze statue , and a library with about 1.4 million books . Not as busy as the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial.

Always pretty packed. The park inside offers one of the nicest views of Taipei 101.

Dropped by for a sight of the Memorial Hall. It was a regular day with students practicing dance routines outside the halls.

Pretty nice at night. Young people hang out on the pork area playing music or dancing

On every hour, there is a guard change ceremony. Very cool. And reminds us to stand in reverence and respect :)

So many Chinese tourists everywhere! They change the guards every hour. Get there 15 min beforehand to get a good spot.

The change of guards is a cool thing, but you'll have to endure being pushed and shoved by those tourists from China.
