Strawberry Shortcake desert is awesome! It includes vanilla bean whipped cream YUUUUUM! A server brought out some BBQ shrimp that smelled great too. Will try on my next visit.

Order the chicken biscuit . It's the absolute best I've ever had. It's the Drake of biscuits . It's a good grill and you know it.

Absolutely MUST try the chicken biscuit sandwich . A bigger snack but needs a side of making it a meal. The Crackin are better once they cool down a little but are still delicious!

The chicken biscuit will stick to your ribs (and make you stronger). They sometimes show sports on their TVs , so beware (or get there early if that's your thing).

Cheap , delicious food and good beer list . Definitely stop by if in the area. $6 for rice , beans, bacon , sausage - can't beat it.

Well-picked rotating selection of draft microbrews . Get here early if you are rolling with a crew. Seating is limited and the space, while nicely decorated, is small.

Good happy hour and a good brunch spot . The New Orleans style dishes are just right after a rough night of boozing.

Good spot, bit of an older crowd than other Bushwick bars . Do the right thing and get a po boy .

The mulled wine & whiskey is excellent in the colder months. Warm, thick, spiced, delicious.

Before or after you see great weird theater at the Bushwick Starr, get good Southern food & strong drinks here.
