Jin Mao Tower

Enter through section between buildings. Go down escalator to Basement 1 floor for tickets and entrance. Check with attendant when exiting deck to be sure you are in the correct spot/line to "exit."

A really great scenic view from top of the tower. Entertaining. A long queue to wait. But worth a visit. A post office is on the top. Please bring the student card for discounts if you have.

Take in a birds eye view of Shanghai, but there are taller buildings nearby. Best on clearer days. Walk to the left all the way around once off the lift for some less crowded viewing spots.

Going to the Cloud 9 bar on the 87th floor might be just as good as actually going to the top. Highest you can go in Jin Mao is the 88th floor . Still a great view of the city either way.

These days tourist go for SWFC and Oriental Pearl Tower so observation deck here is pretty nice and calm .

The view is great, the new attraction is the outside deck , which is a thrilling experience!

Really interesting architecture . Probably my favorite building (yes, more than Pearl tower in a way!)

The observation deck also doubles as a maritime museum . If harbor history floats your boat, check that ship out.

Forget the observation deck , go to floor 87 - Cloud 9 bar . For the same price as the observation deck ticket, you can have a drink, a relaxing table and a spectacular view

Don't forget to take your camera with you! :) The best time is before sunset .
