Saw positive and negative reviews before coming. But I gotta give two thumbs up for this place. Really liked everything here: music , atmosphere, hospitality , clean restroom , recommended wine , etc.
One of best jazz clubs I have ever seen. Food is also great. Cocktails are also good. House wines are also tasty.
Make reservations , it will make life easy. Not outside drinks allowed. 2 hour max seating time during peak hours. Everything on the menu is fantastic. I love the wings.
The jazz at Andy's ranges from hard bop to fusion, traditional to swing, and even Latin jazz and Afro-pop. Andy's makes a perfect nightcap for an evening dining downtown. Read more
They have rules. You should buy at least two drinks, you can't record videos and you can't be between the bar and the stage. But you have to go, it's an awesome historical jazz bar !
Wonderful music , great service at dinner , good food. The only complaint is the chairs at the tables need an upgrade they are very uncomfortable. I would return again when in town .
Amazing live music , food and drinks. It's a great experience tbh and well worth the cover charge (which is only $10 btw)
Great music and location...maître 'd staffed poorly...unskilled at helping guests adapt to environment...takes away from the amazing music ...
Great Jazz Music . Need to go early on busy nights to get a good seat. A lot of obstructions if sitting off to the sides.
take me back here, best jazz club . Lowdownbrassband was on the stage. They are perfect????
Live jazz , great food, wonderful drinks, a nice place to spend the night and unwind or bring a date
Showcases local talent playing everything from traditional to modern jazz . Andy's also features great cocktails and a casual dining menu. It's just a short walk from the hotel .

Awesome venue for traditional music - however not a great place for food. So my advice is to eat elsewhere and just go for the music . Jazz always makes people feel cool somehow.
Ardbeg’s smoky flavor has found many fans here in #Chicago. Perhaps because its smoky flavor is sort of like liquid jazz . Yeah man. Like us on FB: www.facebook.com/ardbegusa
I'm a vegetarian so I just had drinks, but this dude next to me demolished a rack of ribs and I was drooling the whole time. So get the ribs if you're a carnivore.
The food is great. Pizzas ate wonderful. Also, sliders , caprese salad , scallop app, burgers. Nice selection of wines by the glass.
Great environment, the twins rocked that night with their smooth jazz and motivated band.
Great music , two bands on the stage in less than 2 hours. Nice place for jazz lovers in town
Great vibe with live jazz band ! The cajun shrimp was magnificent!
An historic jazz club and a must-visit when in Chicago. Shockingly, the food is actually decent, and the drink pours are generous. (Ie, not a tourist trap.)
Fun place but get a seat ahead !
Really authentic jazz place with fantastic jazz groups.
Great tunes , perfect atmosphere, good service . So wish a certain bar would follow suit 'W B'
Very nice mood even if you're not into big band bebop jazz
Local performers cover a range of styles from Traditional and Swing to Bop, Fusion, Latin and Afro-Pop.
A great jazz venue that has a very chill atmosphere.
amazing experience hands down! Fully recommend to any fan of jazz !
Chicago jazz orchestra is by far the best act to see here. Don't waste your time on others. Managers are really bitchy and push people out door if they don't spend enough $
Great band and very good food. Good beers as well .
Great music and good food.
Great place for jazz and the atmosphere is nice. The food was expensive and bland though. Even the skillet cookie wasn’t good.
The Jazz was good. It could have been a little more upbeat.
Great atmosphere
Check out the lowdownbrassband , they rock???? ????????
Bring the love of your life and your soul too. Great place. Undescribable music !!! Unforgetable moments !!!!
One feels classy being here. Great service, though some drinks are pricey - to be expected at a jazz club though.
Our first jazz bar in Chicago
Great atmosphere.. awesome music !
When you're there be sure to order a Pizza for the table!! Andy's Thin Crust is THE BEST kept secret in Chicago. Ribs are very good too!
Stephanie is a great addition to Andys! Bravo!!!
If in Chicago and you like Jazz , you should like this place. Friendly , good music
Ribeye steak is very tasty
If you are in the mood for blues music , you can’t miss a visit here!
The music is very nice
Make a reservation if you want to be seated for sure. Gets busy after 8.
Best cheesecake ever!
The band was great but sound setup could be better to enjoy the music . Food was OK, nothing significant.
Good food, great jazz !
Local hang-out and I always brought my out-of-town guests here - the live bands are awesome and good drinks at reasonable prices! - Lisa Griffin
Great live jazz venue. I went there while on vacation and went on a Wednesday night which was free. Mark Colby was performing that night, the club has this dark alley mobster vibe which I loved :-) - Luis Lopez
An excellent and authentic place for jazz, but get here early as the place fills up fast. - Joseph B.
Great place for an evening snack and drink. Pasole is very good and the Pulled Pork has just enough heat (but not too much). Sit outside. - Chris Judson
Everything here is awesome! Try the oyster sampler; a nice variety of east and west coast oysters! - Adam
