Beachbum Berry's Latitude 29

Drink the L29, start with the taro chips and finish with the steak frites . It's a solid experience, though nothing amazing. Many of the cocktails are either very strong or overwhelmed by passion fruit

"The other Tiki bar " may have won Food & Wine 's Best New Bar in the US, but L29's dream team of mixologists creates far superior cocktails that are not only drinkable but also delicious.

Excellently designed tiki cocktails . Lapu Lapu bowl is especially good (and a bartender favorite apparently). Chicken wings are surprisingly exquisite.

Sit at the bar , enjoy a perfect cocktail (I like the Missionary's Downfall and the Bum's Rush) and great bar food (shrimps in a blanket, dumplings , etc). They have a decent menu.

The staff is amazing. Always willing to offer suggestions or make substitutions based on your tastes. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

When: Every day, 3-6pm The deal: Tiki potions in the $6-$10 range, like the Waikiki Wedding for $6, Royal Hawaiian Cocktail for $8, or Planters Rum Punch for $9.

Amazing drinks, like the Pearl Diver and the Latitude 29, and a super delicious pineapple layer cake .

Musts: Outcast of the Islands , Mai Tai , Zombie, Mississippi Mermaid and, of course the Latitude 29, but the BEST is the surprising Missionary's Downfall.

This time around I tried the Mambo Diablio. They a great Bahn mi sandwich for $5 during happy hour .

Fun trying different tiki drinks , especially the large bowls to share!

The rib starter tastes real good and is plentiful. Link it with the Loco Moco and you'll be fully satisfied.

Excellent tiki-style drinks. Bar seating is fun but they don't allow standing so if you have a large party, get a table.

Happy Hours are from 3PM-6PM Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and from 12 Noon-6PM every Friday.

Cool tiki bar by "Beach Bum" Berry . Try the Hurricane or the Blue Hawaiian. Good happy hour specials .
