The Sound Garden is a record store Fells Point Baltimore located in United States.
1616 Thames St (btwn Broadway & Bond St) Baltimore , MD 21231 United States
Few record shops dot our local businesses anymore, so it’s actually kind of nostalgic and wonderful to walk through here. Extensive vinyl & CD collection, great playlist inside, knowledgeable staff !
Great selection of new and used movies , DVDs & Blu-rays, cd's and vinyl . Really great rare items, and deep foreign and horror movie sections. Great prices, a favorite!
If you're confused about where an artist is, look for them under a group they were in (i.e. Jerry Cantrell albums are actually with Alice in Chains). Also, don't miss the slightly hidden vinyl room.
Best music selection in Baltimore and pretty cheap . Not as good as they once were but still great. Staff are mostly super-pretensious hipsters who treat you like human waste, but they are knowledgable
Rolling Stone ranked Sound Garden as #2 in their 2012 list of The Best Record Stores in the USA! And every year, it remains on top lists locally in Baltimore & nationally.
The premiere location in Baltimore for CDs, DVDs, and (most importantly), vinyl . I hope that the Internet doesn't put them out of business!
Great selection of DVDs and toys . Some good deals to be had!
This place doesn't have a huge selection which is a bummer, but the prices are pretty decent. Lots of DVDs that are well organized too.
Best selection of new vinyl I've ever seen. Plus! Really cheap prices!
Great selection of new or gently used Criterion Collection films for an inexpensive rate.
This place is kinda awesome... lots of oldies and people you've never heard of but there's a ton of new stuff in case you're into that too.
Roam around and take a look the pictures of some of the famous faces that have visited The Sound Garden. Try to find Elijah Wood.
Called ahead and they found my requested video set and reserved it for me. Reminder, they have parking !
The selection, the layout, the in-house audio and staff are all top notch.
These people are elitist jerks. I have shopped here since the early 90's and they have always treated their customers like pooh.
Has every movie and CD you could ever possibly want. I also freaking love the staff they are the best.
They now have an amazing used record selection. Finally!!
More vinyl , but used CDs are now mixed in with new discs. Seems like used CDs may be a much smaller portion of their inventory. Very few CD box sets , too!
Go to Sound Garden and look for things you want of the CD and DVD variety. Chances are, you'll find it. I have found some awesome CDs there I've never found anywhere else.
Rolling Stone ranks The Sound Garden in Baltimore as #2 in their list of The Best Record Stores in the USA!
I like to check out the DVD racks here after combing through the music .
Lots of good used discs, but can be hard to know where to find your artist
Need some new tunes for your next Ziptrip? Dig in. They’ve got some rare music gems here that you won’t find in a big box electronic store .
Best place for music/movies/records on the east coast;hands-down.

Huge music selection if you need anything come here!
The best music/dvd store in Baltimore. Great used section too!
A good place to go for cheap dvd's, records , and a whole bunch of other fun goodies...I prefer this place over record & tape traders.
If you're buying used cds, CHECK THE CD BEFORE YOU BUY! Twice I've bought cds and later got home and found the wrong one inside.

Marc is the best!!! Give him a hi-five and tell him that!
Remembering the days of physically flipping through CD racks. #nostalgia

Great LP selection
Where else would you go? My choice.
Good prices, but a pretty limited used record section. Tons of excellent new stuff. I almost bit the bullet on that Slayer box set . ????
I discovered dubstep here
Just an awesome store
Discos en acetato de cualquiet cosa. Te compran tus discos too
Mostly awesome rock vinyls (and a nice tape options too), but overall, a thorough collection of everything in this store. Plus, had an amazing music nerd conversation with owner Tony. Loved it. - Ericka
An excellent book-digging adventure! Not the greatest record selection, but decent. Books out the wazoo! Highly recommended... - Justa Hoax
